But seriously, the best solution is an 80s style scheme where someone reads the speech to you over a headset that somehow people don't notice. Halfway through the speech hilarious hijinks will ensue as the person reading you the lines has some mishap, with you repeating all the outbursts!

Finally you get top marks by the teacher who loves your creativity and comical inserts.

It's foolproof!

None. I still like BNL but won't deny they've aged poorly. Maybe if all the members were still together the live show would make them worthy, because that was always the best part of their appeal.

But I have a feeling watching them now would be sad dinosaur-band nostalgia, especially with Page gone.

They're the same with overlaying characters. The lower right corner has a Japanese hiragana on it.

However you can also just type using roman letters. You enter in the text and it will come on the screen as hiragana, then you press spacebar to cycle through possible kanji or katakana ways of writing if you want to change it. There are also a few special Japanese-specific key like one to toggle entering English text or Japanese text.

One more thing, many of the punctuation mark locations are different. For example the apostrophe is over the number 7.

I agree that Android is getting better. IPhones are still easier to use but the gap is narrowing. Even Android tablets are gradually getting better. They haven't caught up yet but Apple isn't improving much.

I'm starting to wonder if this will be a repeat of what happened to Apple in the 90s without Steve Jobs. They started with technology that was worlds above the competition but then Microsoft kept integrating all their good ideas, and Apple stopped coming up with new good ones.

I remember having a talk with a fellow nerd who was a Mac fan after Windows 95 came out and he was like "why do people want it? They totally copied Apple for everything."

And I was like "Why would they not? Who cares whether they thought of it first? If Microsoft has all the things that used to make Macs better, and they're cheaper, and they have more software and games, nobody cares if they copied the other guys."

Apple probably would have gone out of business if Jobs hadn't come back a few years later too straighten the company out then come up with real new technology.

If Apple keeps coasting on their great ideas from 10 years ago eventually they will be left in the cold as other companies figure out how to do that and more.

We just go because my wife loves the orange chicken. I like it too. If it were up to me we would probably go to the cheap local places because it's a little more expensive at Panda Express. But PA still costs well under $10 a person and I don't find the food any better at the local place so I don't mind.

When we want to eat good Chinese food we go to one of the Chinese neighborhoods.

Anyway, I always thought the best way to do the scouring of the shire would be if Jackson had made a short animated film, a high quality homage to the Bakshi films, voiced by the movie actors. There still are maid cafes but it's not like 10 years ago when they were everywhere.

I always wanted to go to a "tsundere" maid cafe. That's where the maids totally treat you like shit, making fun of you and yelling at you and getting your order wrong on purpose. They'll even spill coffee and blame it on you.

But then as soon as you go to pay the check they turn a 180 and immediately start begging you not to go, pleading over how much they love you, etc.

Problem is they will kick you out if you are laughing too much and/or not going along with the bit enough.

Being able to save and restore within my own life has always seemed like it would be the most powerful possible in many ways--especially if I auto restored when dead. I mean think about it, you could do anything over and over again until you got it right, instantly become rich by gambling, and basically defeat any foe by finding the time they would be most off guard.

But then when I think about it that power would probably corrupt me. I would start doing small things but the temptation to do more and more would be hard to resist. I mean I could just kill someone and literally bring them right back. Plus I would be going back and forth in the same time period. It would probably make me mentally unstable and lose my grip on reality. Other people wouldn't seem real to me.

Probably most super powers would be like this to some degree if you really had them.

Whereas butts tend to either be completely flat and featureless or grotesque monstrosities.

There are lots of problems with this.

1. Everybody looks the same.

2. People who do have trouble affording it or don't have permission from parents get bullied.

3. Women are in a constant battle to physically alter themselves to be as beautiful as they can be which is terrible for self esteem.

4. Plastic surgery can and does go wrong for many people which can lead to permanent disfigurement or even death.

5. As women age they start looking really bad as their face changes in ways that don't match the surgery, necessitating more surgery, and it's very hard to know how much you can get away with before you start looking like a freak. And the older you get the more you'll need just to look normal.

I mean I think it's fine for people to get plastic surgery if they've thought it through and come to the decision because they really and truly want to. But social pressure expecting everyone must get it is terrible.

Probably the TC is the kind of selfish jerk who doesn't care about any of this as long as he has more hot girls to look at.

For what possible reason would you tell your fiance?

If you do tell her, both you and her will feel like crap, and you'll likely break up. If you don't tell her, only you will feel like crap temporarily, and if you wanna stay with her you still can.

You have nothing to gain and everything to lose by telling

My 6th grade advisor used to tell me "honesty is the best policy"

was she wrong? Does my fiance deserve to know I'm a cheating ho bag even tho I love her and treat her right?

What actual benefits would you get out of telling her? How would it benefit either you or her?

If we broke up I could fuck 919s without feeling guilty.

You still can if you don't tell her and choose not to feel guilty.

It's all in your mind. Plenty of people do it.

If you have no sense of morality and don't care about anyone except yourself, you can fuck all the girls you want and never feel guilty until you get caught! Plenty of people do it. The way Darklit_Minuet posts makes me think he does it.

For what it's worth, it's New Yorkers bitching about regional pizzas not being like their own is a far bigger issue. At most from the Chicago side, I've heard many say that our pizza is better than the rest, but not that regional variants can't exist. For New Yorkers, they bitch and moan at the notion that other areas have the gall to have different styles of pizza.

Yes, this is the other thing I wanted to say. I think most people don't understand the point of Chicago style pizza (or hot dogs for that matter). It's not about trying to be better than New York. It's about making something that's good, but different enough that you don't need to compare the two.

New Yorkers really get mad about people liking any other pizza better than New York pizza. But in Chicago, if you don't like our pizza we just think "hey, your loss." And that goes for pretty much anything else.

I've never been to Chicago or NYC...do both cities only have one type of pizza (despite having thousands of businesses and millions of people) or are we just complaining about nothing here? Can you not get a deep dish in NYC, or a thin crust with big slices in Chicago?

Dunno about New York but Chicago has lots of different pizza. Personally deep dish has never been my favorite. I prefer the thin "tavern style" with a crispy bottom, a chewy layer of dough over it, and nice herb flavored sauce. Mmmmm. And by the way they do put the toppings on top.

There's also stuffed pizza which does have sauce on top but the crust is more like a standard pizza. I do love a stuffed spinach pizza.

The thing is that most Chicagoans don't eat deep dish pizza regularly. For most of us it's a once in a while thing. 90% of the time when we get a pizza it's the thin crust, and maybe a few times a year we'll go out for deep dish / stuffed pizza.

My personal preference for the main Chicago styles is:

Thin crust > stuffed pizza > deep dish pizza

And I think other kinds of pizza can be great in their own way too. There are definitely pizza places that do non Chicago styles too. We have all the standard chains and places that reproduce Italian or New York style.

In general I think the Chicago style ones tend to be the best, if you're in Chicago.
