2017: Dull, can't find work, all my friends live in the city. I'd love to move.
2012: The year which began the spiral to present day. Left my job early in the year.
2007: Working, not much else of note...
2002: Year after highschool graduation. Was busy with a 6-month course that payed very well.
1997: I was in Grade 9. Anime was getting big and Pokemon was starting out.
1992: We had just moved, started a new elementary school in the middle of Grade 3. Of all the listed years this was probably the best one.

2017: Still married, still employed with the same job from 2012. Turning 36 next month.
2012: Moved to Tennessee and finally got a career that I was aiming for, after a bit of work and grinding.
2007: Started my first job in management, annoyed with not finding work in the field I got my degree in, all employers looking for "experience" but couldn't gain experience, due to employers wanting experience.
2002: In the Army, mobilized in Pakistan for my 2nd year. Got married in December to my current wife.
1997: First year of high school, when I lost my V card.
1992: 4th Grade, for the 2nd time. The previous year I missed like 110 days of school due to asthma and severe breathing problems. I was on a nebulizer and 3 inhalers 3 times a day for years to follow.

2017: Still on the job hunt. All progress made during community college went to crap the moment I transferred out/graduated. Paying off loans slowly through selling stuff.
2012: Second year of community college. Focused on maintaining a 4.0 and extracurriculars at the time.
2007: Ended Middle/Started High School. Played plenty of maplestory(and still do unfortunately)
2002: Started to browse the internet; lurked on Gamefaqs for a good while solely for FAQs. I remember reading Ender's Game and Fight Club alot.
1997: Watching barney and playing Link to the Past on the SNES. was at least 4 years old.
1992: Didn't Exist yet.

2017: Still without full time work but at least have a substitute position and have my foot in the door. Drinking a lot more.
2012: Working manufacturing and hating it.
2007: Caring for my sick grandfather 24/7.
2002: Going to community college part time that eventually went nowhere but really just wasting time and life I guess.
1997: In high school wishing death upon just about everyone.

1992, this is the year I moved to Switzerland, where I still live now. I was 2 years old.
1997, I was in the first grade this year. I'd like to say this is the year I started getting into video games. 1996 is when I first started playing, 1997 is when it became an active hobby.
2002, I was 12 this year. I wasn't doing all too well in school, I got in trouble a lot but I had an amazing social life. I spent almost all my free time hanging out with friends, occasionally playing video games and engaging in other activities.
2007, I had taken up martial arts in 2006 where I discovered a new passion of mine, in 2007 (at 17) I knew I wanted to make it my profession. I did this although everyone around me advised against it.
2012, I had reached my goal of becoming self employed and living from teaching martial arts. March of this year I also got together with my girlfriend who is now my wife (since 2015). This is also the year I moved into my own apartment (at 22)
2017, this year was a big one as my wife and I bought our first apartment just outside of Zurich, Switzerland. This actually just happened last month.

Sept 92: 3rd grade just began, at a new school that was only 2 blocks from where I lived.

Sept 97: 8th grade, becoming a teenager, started liking stuff like metallica, still had a Sega genesis (would get a n64 the next year)

Sept 2002: Graduated high school earlier that year, was trying junior college with computer programming, took 6 classes, overwhelmed myself and dropped out after the 1st semester. I rarely ever mention this online.

Sept 2007: working at an amc theater, was 4 years at that point, I was a "lead". I should've been looking for a new job at this point, would do it in 09.

Sept 2012: working at a supermarket, more importantly I was 320 at the start of 2012 and would be 170ish by this point, crazy to lose that weight, id start to finally learn to drive.

Sept 2017: losing weight again lol this time only 30 pounds instead of 150. Also work at an insurance company and last month moved into my own apartment.

2017: Economy is definitely fucked. Still trying to come up with something that rivals my best years in the East India Company. Soulmate is still rooting for me, and she's my rock.
2012: Decided to turn my life around and become a decent person now that I had no money left. It was too late for that. The world is not what it used to be anymore. Luckily, I met my soulmate and I'm still here.
2007: Still had some money, could still live decently. Decided to just party around though.
2002: 9/11 certainly played a part on the decline of global economy but I decided to invest in startup companies that seemed to promise a lot. Big mistake.
1997: The dot-com boom led to some bad investments, so I cut my losses short and decided to just save my money. IBM and Compaq were still doing fairly good but things were going to change in the next few years.
1992: By this time I had invested quite a bit on IBM computers, things were looking up after the 80's. Those were the years.
