Eh, there are a couple decent ones.

But come on, you have to admit they're nowhere near as well done as the boobs. It's not even a little close.

Left once again wishing that anime and manga artists were even half as good at drawing butts as they are at boobs and faces.

I'm talking about ones who just started this year, or maybe who were around before but they recently exploded in popularity. One new star I know is Gabbie Carter:

In Japan, the two biggest breakout stars seem to be Eimi Fukada, who makes the "fake and slutty" look damn good:

And then there's Ruka Inaba, who has more of a "cute and natural" look.

Anybody who knows some other good "breakout" stars of this year, please post them! Preferably with pics.

I love how you totally ignore this was during an era where sci-fi was looked down on.
You think Harrison Ford looked down on science fiction?

Anyway do you think it would be hard to find examples of movies where the actors disagreed with the director in a big way? Like I remember hearing about how in Spartacus practically everyone thought the movie they were making was terrible. They disagreed with the director about everything. Kubrick pretty much disowns the movie today. And yet it is widely considered one of the great films in American cinema.

And again you can find common examples of this. A lot of the best movies are ones where the actors disagreed bitterly with the direction their movie was going.

My point is that some of the actors saying they weren't happy with some of the decisions the director made don't mean shit.

It's not that we go out of our way... it's more like, once we know something about someone we can't un-learn it. How much it affects my enjoyment is on a case-by-case basis. It depends on how bad the thing they did was, and how much that person is involved.

To say that it never affects anything is ridiculous. I mean what if they unearthed some lost footage from a movie that Adolph Hitler had contracted, and put himself in the starring role. Let's say it's a romantic comedy. Would you be able to just watch that and enjoy it like any other movie? Or would it be really weird and disturbing to watch an old black and white romantic comedy starring literally Hitler?

Yes because if a movie is good, the actors are always 100% on board with it. You sure as hell won't find any of the OT actors complaining about their movies! Harrison Ford and Alec Guinness famously LOVED the movies they were in, and couldn't stop gushing about how much they loved them and wanted to make more.

One of the fringe benefits of making constant bullshit claims of antisemitism against Muslim politicians is that when they call out your bigotry, you can just say the other side is doing the same thing when they find genuinely horrible things on your side. It looks like the things he wrote were so bad that they were beyond the pale for a Breitbart editor, so I imagine some really vile stuff will be coming out. No doubt some emails about how white genocide is a real and dangerous thing. Probably some "science" about how whites are more intelligent and black people are more prone to crime and shit like that. Most likely he also called for Islam to be eradicated from the earth, and went on some tirades that we need to keep non-white immigrants out.

And no matter how horrible the things he says are, I'm sure both-sider "moderates" and "liberals" will be ready to dismiss it as being the same as that time Omar said "It's all about the Benjamins."

Pfft, you think 90s games don't tell you anything. Try playing a computer RPG from the 80s like an early Ultima or Wizardry game. Sometimes you can't even figure out the game mechanics without dying multiple times.

Not that I'm saying we should return to that, or that tutorials are bad. But there is fun in discovering things on your own. I at least wish games would give you the option to not have your hand held at the beginning.

Hulk definitely feels like he got the short end though.

Why? He got the one thing Bruce Banner always wanted most: peace with himself. He never has to worry about turning into a monster and destroying those he loves. His powers are no longer a curse. That's the thing he's always searching for in the comics but seldom achieves--and when he does it's pretty much always temporary.

From a character perspective, I would say it's the happiest ending he's ever gotten.

He didn't abandon it though. He put Valkyrie in his place because he knew he wasn't in a good place mentally.

Also this is kind of in character if you think about it. Thor was always more into fighting and being a warrior than leading and being a ruler. It makes more sense for something like this to happen than for him to turn around and become some perfect king of Asgard in a few days just because he managed to kick Hela's ass. Did he even really show strong leadership in Ragnarok? Not that much.

He's still very young for an Asgardian. Maybe he still needs a few centuries to mature and grow into a true king like Odin.

2. The tonkotsu stock. This isn't like french or western stock, which is clear right to the bottom. You can't just throw some bones and vegetables in a slow cooker and leave on a low simmer for 4 hours. First you have to boil and clean the bones and remove all the scum. Then you rinse, and boil and scrub again. Once you have clean bones, then you can start the boil, but it has to be a very high temperature rolling boil, for at least 24 hours. The idea is to complete break down the bones so that all that fat gets suspended in the broth, rather than just gently ease it out of the bone marrow like in a french stock. So you can't just leave that alone. You have to watch it, and keep topping up with water, and skim off the scum that floats to the top. It's a lot of active time. Eventually you will end up with a thick, opaque stock.

You don't have to do tonkotsu stock. That's easily the hardest one. If it's your first time you can start with a shoyu or shio stock. They'll probably taste better if you're making it at home.

There are also plenty of shortcuts you can take in the other areas. You can just use regular soft boiled eggs, or just buy a pork belly or pork shoulder and boil it in a broth with lots of soy sauce, green onions, and ginger. You could even use a pork loin or chicken breasts if you prefer lean meat. Then add some vegetables that go well with it like green onions, cabbage, and moyashi bean sprouts. It may not be restaurant quality but you can make a damn good noodle soup, and cheap.

It's not worth it to try and make the same thing you eat in a restaurant but if you have decent quality ingredients and have a good sense of what works you can make some really good soup with patience and experimentation.

Maybe its a scale thing. I heard McDonalds abandoned a sanwhich idea that used eggplant, because there wasnt enough eggplant on the planet to supply their needs.

Or maybe its because were all fat in America and they dont trust us with the good stuff. They have a double-big mac with 4 patties as part of the regular menu <_<

Nah, that was limited time.

It's not very good anyway. The balance is all wrong because the amount of cheese, sauce, lettuce, and everything else is the same.
