I've been using pocket casts since 2017 and I'm just now realizing there's a paid version. What's the paid version include?

Arrested twice but released on my own and then both times the charges were dropped. Never actually been inside a jail or prison.

I was under the impression the 7 years thing was if you didn't talk to them and say "oh yeah, I guess I do owe that." If you agree to payment plans or anything and then don't make payments the 7 year thing starts over or something.

Isn't this a one time fee you pay at closing? Correct me if I'm wrong but this isn't something you pay monthly.

Edit: Maybe I'm wrong. I've seen it say it will cost more monthly and others say it's paid at settlement.

I get she's just trying to do good but it's weird when you're filming it. And if people say "no thanks" leave it at that. Don't keep trying to pay or explain.

The other week I went to my town laundry place to do some laundry. Turns out I went on "local church pays for laundry for poor people" night. I walked in and the place was crowded. I was putting my clothes in the wash and someone came up and tried to put quarters in the machine. I said I appreciate the help but use the money for someone who needs it. Then a minute later someone else came up and tried to do the same thing. That person was way pushy and after I explained I didn't need it they put their hand up to put money in the machine and I had to push it away. Now I'm left feeling bad. I gave them 20 bucks to put towards their cause. (Notice I didn't make a video)

I get people want to do good, but don't force it on people who don't want it. And don't be pushy about it insisting you know better. And don't fucking cry because someone didn't want your help. If you really want to do good donate the money to a food bank where it goes to people who can't afford food. Or donate your time at a soup kitchen or something.

the people have never chosen who runs for President directly anyways. Getting the nomination for your party is a game. Requires tons of money and sucking up to those who can finance your campaign.

sure we vote in the general election and in primariesbut there has never been a time in history when the candidates running for a party nomination is even who the general public would want in office.

I get all of that. And I am kind of putting some blame where it doesn't go.

But they don't have to select Biden. It's just a courtesy because it makes the party look stronger. They could run someone else if they wanted. He didn't decide to run again without their say so. So in a way they kind of are endorsing him. If the poll number I heard today of 70 percent of people not being excited for Biden to run again is true then why are they running him again. They have had 3 years to find someone and they haven't. I guarantee the goal was for Kamala to take over after 4 but guess what, she hasn't done shit. No one would be excited to vote for her if she ran.

And while I just rallied against Democrats there I swear I'm not some MAGA Red Hat or something. I voted for Biden the first time.

But for real, I think Republicans have a better chance of winning than last time simply because Biden was picked again for the Dems. People aren't enthusiastic to go out and vote for him. People will stay home saying "meh, Biden won last time he will do it again, I don't need to go out today to vote."

So odds are we will have two people facing each other, AGAIN, that 70 percent of the population don't want running.

I'm tired of this. I am no longer voting for "the lesser of two evils." I am voting for no one if no one deserves it. You don't get to cry to me about how that's really a vote for one of the candidates. That's on you. Fucking run better people.

I agree that it's laid out probably as best as you can make it for having different branching conversations.

Does it look nice? Fuck no. Is it easy to navigate conversations? Absolutely.

But here if you're talking about subject A and decide to go into subsubject B it gets mixed in with every other conversation about Subject A as well as Subsubjects C, D, E, F, G, H, and so on. CE is the one that's not formatted well. But it looks nicer.

Is there lore behind him? Was X attacking Sigmas base with an army of other robots at his side?

My understanding was it was insanely EASIER to harass low/middle class people because going after the big guys takes way more money since their taxes are more complicated and you're probably dealing with lawyers. Now they are getting more funding and can go after the big guys.

15 Vacation and I can carry over a week each year. So usually I have 20 vacation days.

5 sick days but honestly since WFH started you can just take a sick day and check your email once and they won't count it as a day. Can carry over unlimited. Currently at like 4 weeks.

All federal holidays plus Black Friday. Plus we get off the week between Christmas and New Years usually.

And in the Summer we get out at 2PM every Friday.

This is probably a dumb question but would they actually test your drugs or would they just confiscate them? You always hear warnings about how everything is being laces with fentanyl now and i've seen people talk about fentanyl laced weed which is obviously BS but cops are some of the people spreading this BS. So did they create a fear and then attempt to dissuade that fear by doing a good deed such as testing your drugs, or did they create a fear and then when people fall to the fear they created arrest them.

I'm curious, but not curious enough to take my stash to them.

As I've gotten older people who don't do the simplest things to show respect for others REALLY pisses me off. Like today there was some dude who parked his truck at the gas station in front of the air pump for tires. I needed air and he was just sitting there talking on his phone inside his truck. Made me irrationally angry.

Mine went up like 40 bucks in the first year. It didn't go up the second year.

When I was in little league we had this pitcher that was pitching and we lost the game. We went to do the high fives after a game between teams and this dude high fived the opponent pitcher but held onto his arm and tried to spin it the whole way around or something. Like instead of high fiving he kept pushing the dudes arm. Fucked the dudes arm up.

I hated that guy on our team. It's such poor sportsmanship.

Small country town in rural PA. My mortgage, including property taxes, is 670 a month. I rent out the lower half for 425 a month.

Damn. End of an era. I signed up for Netflix when it was ONLY a DVD delivery service. It was fun getting 3 discs of a season of a show and watching them all in a few days and then waiting until the next ones came.

I think in the US it's a little tricker but generally you are protected.

I was doing some googling and apparently you have to act within your training and be rational about it. Like if you don't know how to perform a trach and you try to do one on someone and mess them up you can be sued. Or if you see a car wreck without fire and go to pull one of the drivers out of the car but they had a neck injury and you just made it worse and paralyzed them you can be held responsible because they didn't actually need pulled from the car and could have waited for EMS.

I mean my dream is to buy a cabin in the woods somewhere and grow some veggies and throw up some solar panels. I could find enough to keep me busy in a garden or something.
