Lawyers do this all the time, dramatic demonstrations or really weird stupid shit that makes no sense but the jury remembers. This is of course a lie, but it does tie into a previous case they won that implied they were simply entertainment and not news so they are probably hoping the precedent helps. "It's a joke bro" but all pretty sounding. Not to mention the Simpsons was on "fox" so they can try to convince the jury that "Fox has totally been making election jokes before, why are people upset now?
