What time does he stream? I thought it started a few minutes ago but I'm not seeing anything.

Watching my first ever livestream of his. Not sure why. He's been talking about the same things he always talks about.

4 weeks of sick time. (We can carry over unlimited)
3 weeks of vacation, I need to use 2 by the end of the year. I'll probably only use 3 or 4 days of this on mornings I wake up and don't feel like coming in and my work is caught up.

I randomly watched the TIHYDP Silent Hill 2. Dude spent the entire time bitching at the audience because they suggest he play hard. Like the whole time he was bitching at them and calling them trolls. Crazy.

I think it gets the most hate but I've always enjoyed 3 the most. It was the first one I saw and it being in an amusement park was kind of cool.

I've played most of the games in the series over my life. But there is one particular song that always gets me pumped up and it was used amazingly, and that is The Landing.

A guy I work with who i've become friends with lives just outside of Tampa. He evacuated to a nearby hospital. His wife works there and they are letting employees take their families there to evacuate. He said he's lost a tree limb, part of his fence, and the electric so far at his house. He can no longer watch a video camera to see how bad it gets.

I can't even imagine sitting there not knowing if you still have a house or not.

I remember this story and am glad I haven't seen repeats of it over the years. It's possible I just missed them though.

I just was looking for this topic to say the same thing. Apparently it's really close to a Cat 5 right now. My buddy who lived there evacuated to a local hospital that is offering shelter to their employees (his wife is a nurse)

I don't have a Steam Deck but I do follow the emulation scene, I can confirm this. I'm not sure if it really goes up to 360 but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

TC - If they are shipping them out when you pre-ordered a month ago it seems like it won't be too long before there's no more wait list for them. If you want one in a year you should be able to get them pretty readily. I don't think there's harm in cancelling if you aren't sure.

I waited tables for a while when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I had a table of regulars that was a mom, dad, and two young kids. I would be extra nice to the kids because they were well behaved and pleasant. One time I said something like "I have a secret, the chocolate milk is extra chocolatey" or some dumb shit. The parents told me that they don't have secrets in their family, they have surprises. The mom told me that abusers ask kids to keep a secret so the family doesn't do secrets.

It makes perfect sense. And I don't think when they are 13 the parents will be telling the kids "no secrets" because the kids know what it was all about.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through the 2nd season. This show isn't a 10/10 or anything but it's a solid 7/10. You hear sci-fi show on some basic channel like TNT and you think cheap budget and shitty sets but this isn't that at all.

Wasp/Bee/Hornets only. Probably been stung on a dozen different instances in my life. One of them was mowing over an in ground hornets nest and getting stung 21 times.

I actually had 5 and had them all taken out when I was in my early 20s. Not sure how rare it is to have 5.

I'll play them, but I've been burned in the past and have stopped buying them day 1.

I recently played No Man's Sky for the first time and absolutely love it.
I bought Cyberpunk day 1 for my PS5 and only put an hour or two into it before I realized how buggy it was and stopped. I haven't returned.

A conspiracy that something big is about to happen on Saturday, Sept. 24, has taken hold among QAnon supporters around the world, in part thanks to an episode of The Simpsons.

The conspiracy first emerged in German QAnon channels on Telegram earlier this month, when followers began spreading a video that showed German lawmaker Friedrich Merz speaking to the Bundestag about the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February.

In his speech, Merz misspeaks and says that everyone will remember where they were on September 24, rather than February 24, the day Russia invaded. Merz corrected himself in the official record of the Bundestag, but QAnon followers in Germany believed theyd spotted Merz revealing a detail of a secret plan.

Without any extra information, however, QAnon followers were at a loss about what exactly was going to happen on the date in question. Soon, some intrepid researchers came up with a theory based on a single episode of The Simpsons.

One member of a German Telegram channel pointed out that in episode 9 of Season 24 (9/24, Sept. 24, get it?) of the animated sitcom, the plot revolves around a group of preppers. In particular, the characters discuss WROL, or Without Rule of Law, which is doomsday-prepper lingo for the complete breakdown of society after a major catastrophe.

The episode also features an electromagnetic pulse device, which QAnon followers believe will usher in 10 days of darkness and ultimately the return of former President Donald Trump to the Oval Office.

These people really are something else.

I live about half an hour from Hershey Park. During the summers when I was in school a lot of the students worked there. Also I had at least one teacher who worked there during the summer because he enjoyed it.

It took me a couple tries too. I think I've started it twice before and stopped part way through the first episode. But give it two or three episodes and it's actually kind of enjoyable. Like I said it doesn't have the production value of of a huge name show airing today but it isn't cheap either.

As it goes on they dig more into some of the lore and it helps with the worldbuilding.

The TV show staring Noah Wyle (Dr John Carter from ER) that I think used to air on TNT. I remember it being on TV back then but never watched it. It's about the survivors here on Earth fighting back against an alien invasion that has already almost wiped out humanity. It's actually decent if you're into that type of show. I just started season 2 of 5. It's not a blockbuster ultra big budget type of show. It is more on par with Battlestar Galactica I would say. I have a huge crush on the woman who plays Maggie in this (Sarah Carter) who also had a small role in Smallville. There's something with her voice....

All 5 seasons are on HBO Go.

I think "essentials" is close to how I feel. There's stuff currently that I feel shouldn't be privately owned like medical and legal. Although legal would be tricky. The public defenders you get now are overworked and barely have time for your case so in reality it's the richer you are the better chance you have for getting off.

Not a doctor but I'm pretty sure they do. Sometimes it can pass on it's own, sometimes it's bigger and needs to be removed.

I'm not trying to take anything away from her.... that has to be terrible. I had a buddy who had a kid that didn't survive the womb and it still haunts him. But what the fuck is she talking about? Honestly, this just seems to be her saying shit to make headlines or some newspaper taking shit she said to make headlines. Halfway through the pregnancy she realized the kid wouldn't make it and also it could be a danger to her to carry it. I don't think anyone will argue with her over the proper word to use in that scenario and frankly I can't imagine anyone cares. Say miscarriage or abortion, it doesn't matter to me.

I started a game I bought a while ago and hadn't played. At medium it has stuttering and shit that's annoying. It is making me realize it's time to upgrade my PC. That game is No Man's Sky.
