I get 12 holidays, 21 vacation days, 10 sick days. I max out at I think 27 or 28 vacation days. But, currently 43.

I can accrue 6 more for 12 a year total

15 vacation, 10-11 holidays (12-13 days if counting thanksgiving and Xmas), up to 10 days for year end holiday shutdown.

I'm not counting sick days.

I'm a professor, so I don't work for 3 months in the summer. Technically, my contract only pays me for the time I work, but it's pro-rated over the whole year

I have one of those unlimited PTO with the understanding that I dont take more time off than I can without it negatively affecting my work deals. Though it legitimately is encouraged for people to regularly take time off, and on program staff are actually required to take a 3 day paid break once a month to help combat burnout.

About 16 vacation days and 10 sick days.

Sick days never expire and roll over to the next year. 240 hours of vacation time can rollover each yeah.

They can basically be used interchangeably, but the sick days get paid out at the end of the year if you don't use them.

Teacher here.

All federal holidays. 3 days at Thanksgiving. 10 days at winter. 7 days for Spring Break/Easter.

So around 20 days I actually get off and paid for. I also get one sick day a month (which do accumulate and transfer year to year), and build 0.2 personal days a month (2 a year).

Don't get paid at all in the summer so I work a second job.

15 vacation days, whatever holidays are in calendar year, 6 "administrative" days per semester (which I can use however I see fit), 3 training days per semester, unlimited sick leave, though they can start paperwork to fire me after 6 months if they see that "my health is no longer compatible with my position".

Also more training days if they are mandated by my employer and not by me.

20 'vacation' days per year, can bank up to 30
5 'personal' days per year, no rollover
not sure how many sick days i get per year tbh, but my total right now is 960 hours (120 days).

14 vacation days, 5 sick days, along with probabaly a week's work of holiday a year.

Although the vacation will eventually rise to 3 weeks and then 4 I think.

I don't but if I'm made to come in for even 2 minutes I get paid two hours. And I've had that kinda happen 30 minutes.

15 Vacation and I can carry over a week each year. So usually I have 20 vacation days.

5 sick days but honestly since WFH started you can just take a sick day and check your email once and they won't count it as a day. Can carry over unlimited. Currently at like 4 weeks.

All federal holidays plus Black Friday. Plus we get off the week between Christmas and New Years usually.

And in the Summer we get out at 2PM every Friday.

I don't remember if there's a cap on sick days (there probably is). 15 days vacation, 6 paid holidays. New job within the last year.

why exactly are you being so hostile?

20 days of PTO and stat holidays.

No limit to sick days; just have to tell my boss hey I'm sick.

30 days combined in one bank of PTO, holiday, and sick time.

Because there is nothing more annoying than when the general population assumes teachers get "summers off." It's actually summers unemployed.

I have sick time I've accrued too but I don't know how much I have since I've never used it...

It depends on the district/state.

Everyone is on a 10-month contract in my district. No one is able to get paid for June/July.

Nope. We have to sign a document forbidding us to collect unemployment, and if we do, the state will terminate our licenses and take us to court.

You either save up for the summer months and put that money away, or you get a summer job.

I have 240 hours of PTO plus New Year's, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas paid. So in theory I could be off for 36 days this year, paid.

I also got six weeks paid paternity last year and sold 40 hours of PTO at a 36% tax rate just for some extra money.

25 vacation, 5 sick, all major holidays
