Not sure why you've now somehow reached the conclusion that you would have been diagnosed with dyscalculia. There are specific things they look for when diagnosing disorders and disabilities. They aren't just cramming everyone that struggles at all into these categories.

First Im talking hypotheticals, were talking about a reality that didnt happen and doesnt matter today.

imagine you're playing a video game. The video game is secretly set to the highest difficulty for you, while everybody else is playing on normal. Everybody insists the game is set to normal, and you believe them. You see how much easier it is for them and they see how much more you are struggling and the only logical explanation is that you are either just fucking terrible at the game, or just aren't trying hard enough to be as good as them. Now you have an idea of what it's like growing up with an undiagnosed neurodivergance AND a good lead in to why there seems to be heavy overlap between these disorders and various depression / mood disorders.

This is a good analogy but I dont think just because someone struggles with something means its a full blown disorder. Everyone learns and understands things at a different rate.

You dont think I know myself and my own limitations. I know I could have been better at math if I cared at all and wasnt ridiculously lazy when it came to school work.

If I had been given this diagnosis as a kid, I also know it would have accelerated me giving up on math completely. It would have been just the excuse I needed to stop trying and blame it on something else.

Also do you know how often yall try to get everyone to stop arguing when you think youre right? Does it ever work? You think maybe you should stop?

Yes. I see how easily someone can want to fit into a group they dont belong.

Which I just learned about recently. As someone whos absolutely dog shit at math how nice is it now theres a diagnosis now I can fall back on instead of the reality that I didnt apply myself more in school. I dont have to take ownership of my shortcomings, my brain was just wired differently from the start

I chose this example specifically because I can relate to it and I think its easy to poke holes into imho. Dont extrapolate it to say Im saying the same thing about other diagnoses. I know how yall like to throw anyone under the bus for shit that isnt said.

When I was a kid I remember lying about having an allergy to honey, because all the other kids had allergies and sharing it made them feel like they were a part of something I wasnt, and for some reason I needed to lie to be a part of it.

If yall dont think this doesnt happen with mental health diagnoses, cmon. I think its becoming more and more common, personally.

I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD (ADD at the time) until I was about 25 or so. As a teen I wasn't ALLOWED a diagnoses. Anytime a teacher suggested to my family that i should see a specialist for my attention issues, they just screamed and swore and threw a giant fit "our boy ain't some <r-word> for your doctors to pump full of zombie drugs!"

If any symptoms manifested at home? Obviously something they could just scream / threaten / beat out of me!

I loved the story, but the combat was really lacking in variety. I was tired of the battles about 60% of the way into the game.

I found the combat got better towards the end because you had access to more abilities.

I really hope they do a sequel and improve on it though.

It is a very fun game, and I was happy to pick up a copy a few weeks ago.

I was a bit salty that shortly after buying it it made its way to Gamepass. But then again games like this are so rare these days that Im happy to pay full price for it to and support some really good developers

how many people complain theres no decent single player games anymore. Let alone ones that have a great story and are a good 20-30 hours

I guess I'm alone here, but this movie did nothing for me. It's just extended action sequence where John Wick kills a bunch of nameless goons, then they take a break to visit a new place and explain some new rules, then another extended action sequence where John Wick kills a bunch of nameless goons, followed by a break to visit a new place and explain some new rules, ad infinitum.

It all felt so basic and meaningless to me. Nobody had any depth. Nobody had any arc. And I guess I shouldn't expect that in a John Wick movie...but four movies deep, the endless action is getting stale. The rules feel like they're constantly changing or can always be bent.

Now everybody has bulletproof sports jackets and getting hit by a speeding car isn't even a flesh wound.

I just don't think I have an eye for good action choreography and cinematography. I loved the first John Wick because it was all fresh, but every movie has just been diminishing returns for me.

Though yes, that top-down sequence in Paris at the end was awesome on every level.

I feel like it was a big missed opportunity not to have multiplayer. That killed my interest in it. Ill pick it up some day when its on sale.

I think they were smart to focus on single player and deliver a more polished game.

Werent people concerned this developer doesnt have a lot of experience or notable games? How many games recently have has really buggy launches due to the online components?

Being a much needed difference of opinion I suppose.

Like a mini avengers lineup or even just a random duo. There have been a couple maybe unofficially. Thor Ragnarok you could argue is a Thor and Hulk movie. But I think they should embrace it more and lean into it. Its a hard balance to strike in a way. Because after all the individual solo movies leading up to a few giant teamup movies. It feels kinda weird in some way we go back to individual stories. Like yeah I want to spend more time with just Dr Strange and do more of his adventures. However Dr Strange 2 is an interesting example because its Dr Strange vs Wanda. Which is a cool concept. But like wouldnt a lot of other Avengers wanna be consulted on dat?

Would anyone else showing up dilute the Dr. Strange movie itself? Probably. But I would also like to see a small team like Strange, Hawkeye and Falcon for those kinds stakes.

Or they could just do random teamup movies. Like for example how cool would it be if they made a movie that was just like:

Spider-Man and Moonknight

or

Shang Chi and Ant Man (since they both live in San Fran, could be an interesting teamup idk Im just spitballing here.)
