They absolutely knocked it our of the park. The story and the characters are perfect. I dont think the movies did the characters as well as this game does.

Yeah it's good. The only problem I had was all the pink stuff. Got sick of looking at it

Too bad its combat is so bad it makes the game not fun to play at all.

The combat itself is a bit lackluster, especially if you forget to use squad powers.

My only other complaint is that the combat dialogue repeats a lot. They avoided it everywhere else, but the bullet sponge enemies mean you're scraping the barrel by the second or third fight in a level.

how many people complain theres no decent single player games anymore. Let alone ones that have a great story and are a good 20-30 hours

It is a very fun game, and I was happy to pick up a copy a few weeks ago.

I was a bit salty that shortly after buying it it made its way to Gamepass. But then again games like this are so rare these days that Im happy to pay full price for it to and support some really good developers

I loved the story, but the combat was really lacking in variety. I was tired of the battles about 60% of the way into the game.

I mean to be fair using your squad is like half of the combat. If you forget about it that's on you. It would be like forgetting to use powers in Mass Effect lol

I found the combat got better towards the end because you had access to more abilities.

I really hope they do a sequel and improve on it though.

They took it off gamepass last month which is why I bought it, tried it free on the last 3 days it was on gamepass, my copy arrived on the last day so I was pretty happy.

Combat is meh but story is a ten.

Game was really awesome, fan of GotG and read a ton of the comics, so some of the characters being closer was something I enjoyed.

I'm probably the lone voice for it, but the GotG Telltale game was solid, it got a lot of hate but I liked a lot of the story, especially the episode that taps deep into Rocket's past.

I did enjoy it for a while but I felt it overstayed its welcome. I was ready for it to be over by the end.

Square-Enix has since sold the studio to Embracer so pretty unlikely there will be a sequel.
