I have this strong feeling that since this appears to be an origin movie, Mario is going to learn how to become a hero and save the princess and protect the Mushroom Kingdom, and in doing so feels he needs to adapt a "superhero persona." Thus, he'll start calling himself Super Mario when he needs to be a hero, and will adopt a much more exaggerated accent to sound more like the Mario we know.

Ngl, having a dynamic where he's all super happy and bouyant with the more traditional voice as Super Mario and then just having a normal voice with normal behavior as regular Mario would be kinda funny.

I wouldnt think that hard about it. its a tiny bit playful, simple and right to the point. But again its a rare situation where I actually want them to come back at that point so my sample size is limited. But you try what works for you. This has for me.

Feeling like youre being treated as disposable and reacting to that as kind is exactly the toxic info Im addressing in this topic. Handle it as you want, but for anyone willing to listen. Its not always the healthiest response.

You have to be super careful about giving advice about online dating these days. Because you dont want to give the same advice to a incel creep nice guy as an actual decent human being.

That being said, for example. Many people would tell you: if they dont reply NEVER double message and be needy. Just move the fuck on. Which is good advice in a vacuum. It also fails to account people have lives and forget and the person isnt a self absorbed malicious asshole for forgetting to reply.

In select cases where I felt the chat died prematurely and radio silence for days, weeks, I just hit them with a hey come back and its had a good success rate of rekindling the convo.

Again, I emphasize I use sparingly because I really dont care if most chats die. Its usually because the person seems as interesting as a pot of dirt. If the person actually seems cool I think it doesnt hurt to give a little more then you get sometimes.
