It has something to do with win/loss ratio as well. So if you've played more matches around someone of the same skill, it will fluctuate more. Like my roster GSP is 1.98 million, but if I lose with my best character , it will drop a bit. If I lose with a character starting at 1.9 million for the first time and lose, it will drop 500k or more.

this makes sense. I've been bringing up my ratio like crazy so I guess I'll be going up to respectable numbers soon

I play wireless and its 100% no issue. The only time when I experience lag is when I'm matched with someone who clearly is from another country.

So I did quickmatches all day today, after getting pretty good with isabelle and winning 70% of my matchups my gsp went from 32k to 38k

Meanwhile I have a wario sitting at 1.2 mil because he won a single four player match.

After fates I was a little worried I didnt like fire emblem anymore. Birthright is so easy that its painful, and conquest just has dumb gimmicks that aren't really fun. Both have stale and bland characters, and the child mechanic is really forced and pointless, and I say this as someone who is a big fan of waifu emblem.

Echos was awesome though, and the turnwheel is a great addition to old fire emblem games allowing the game to be classic difficult, but not forcing you to have to replay 20 turns because of one simple mistake.

7 will always be unsurpassable, best supports, characters, maps, and variety of well balanced difficulties. I dont think any fire emblem has nailed the satisfaction of HHM prior or since.

6 could be a contender with simple QOL features.

5 is just complete bs and I love it. I would just kill to get a 5 remake with mila's turnwheel, because as of now the game isn't super playable without savestates, which can be abused and as such make the game less fun.

How do you get high numbers?

The game just gives them to you when you play as snake. Ive never gotten less than a .7 with him no matter how hard I tried (and I tried pretty hard to do badly) probably to make his challenge more challenging.

While it's no Smash Run it's still a neat way to set up quick random variable matches with interesting stats like jump / item modifiers

It also has random customizations on characters, so you can get your favorite character and have no idea how to play them.

Man I miss customization. I would trade in 30 characters for the next smash to have that.

Master Orders and Crazy orders were really fun IMO. If customizations and spirits coexisted it could feasibly be a great mode for ultimate.

Smash tour was also really fun in concept, I think if people actually played more of it and gave feedback for it to be fine tuned it could be a really beloved mode. I think we are going to see more love for that mode over the years now that the disappointment of not having an adventure mode has subsided.

This is something I feel is pretty simple. Giving people enough money to keep the selves alive with food month by month isn't something I think either enables people nor does it have an outrageous price tag (when I was in a family of two, 200 dollars a month kept us considerably well fed.) I think work oversight is just an unneeded expense.

Have you run into any load times with local multiplayer? My experience has been seamless, pretty much. Feels quicker to jump into the action versus previous titles.

Maybe because I played so much 4 before I played ultimate so I'm suoer sensitive about all the ways ultimate is more sluggish

Yeah the default settings are so confusing.

We set it to only play one song per stage!!

Also after some investigation, for some super bizarro reason every one online hears the same stage music. Why not make the music different for each individual? Its not like we can hear each others tvs on voice chat or fight to the rhythm.

Also we had someone in our arena who set the stage to ice climbers and the theme to nintendo land on repeat then they stalled for 5 matches. It was magnificently annoying and I appreciate that, but it does seem like an unneeded feature
