Everyone was always helping each other out, giving away free rare weapons, and there was a pretty even 50/ 50 split between men and women which helped a lot. --- werd |

If you want to play an super fun castlevania with power-ups and endless possibilities start with aria of sorrow and dawn of sorrow. The Soma games are pretty easy and just more about pure fun and exploration. If you want a fun platforming challenge akin to mega man try 1 and 3 to get a taste of the series. 1 is a solid game and a blast all the way through but 3 is a much more polished game with branching paths and switchable characters with different abilities. If you find you like both types, then youre in for a treat, the other games are combinations of the two formulas, games like rondo and adventure rebirth are more like refined versions of the nes games, whereas sotn and all the ds castlevanias are closer to the sorrow types. IV is the most dull game in the series, so dont judge it by that. --- werd |

Every non-playable character in the game is actively awesome, i love the battle system, i had a blast playing the game, I even enjoyed the plot. But unless the "creators vision" was "This is the story of several people who have the chemistry of people awkwardly talking to each other at the bus stop" I really dont think its unreasonable to say that character design was so weakly done that a complete character overhaul is in order. --- werd |

If you go into it prepared for the flaws, or without the expectations that came from the other two, youll have a good time with it. The crystal core opening is frustrating to the point of being game ruining if youre a completionist, but if you dont care about completing it its not even an issue. --- werd |
