I just wanted one of them. Instead, my tickets + 80 Orbs got dude Morgan and Ares, two off-banner, off-color 4* units, when there were no blue.

I'm not sure I would have managed it any time soon if it hadn't been a Hero Fest banner. I got very lucky with my success rate too, I needed 7 in total to get to +10 and although I wasn't counting, I'm sure the amount of orbs I spent was way below the average expected to pull that many, even at 5%. Thanks in no small part to getting two Ophelias in the same summoning circle twice.

Anyway, yay, I finally beat Fire Emblem Heroes.

nice. but why did you waste deathblow 4 on her? it doesn't affect aoe specials, so life and death does more damage.

i ended up not getting Lewyn and ending with a 6.25% but i did at least get a +atk Ophelia.

She was originally +Spd before I pulled a +Atk one, and I wasn't running Blazing Light. Although it doesnt synergise with the AoE, it can still potentially make a difference to the follow up attack if the target had high resistance, plus it scores highly in Arena.

In other news, Silas is now +9, so Ophelia beat him to +10 after all.

Wow, congrats.

I spent like 250 orbs on this banner to get three Lewyns and and an Eir. The best Lewyn was neutral and the Eir was worse than the free one. Could have been better, but at least it's nice to have special spiral in the bank.

Does Eir boost Lift on her own if she's the only Light hero during the season, or she needs to be with other Light heroes for both effects to kick in?

Eir boosts lift on her own. I don't think Light Blessings do anything but the stat boost.

Keep in mind it's only equal to merges, not merges +1, so you need your Eir Merged to get any extra lift at all, and it's only during her season.

Honestly unless you're whaling pretty hard for her it's extremely minor and I'm more insulted that they added that as "incentive" than anything. As far as realistic change to the mode's scoring it means almost nothing.

Also congrats Luis. I went kinda hard on this hero fest but I didn't get nearly as many as you did. Mine is only +1 now. Course I probably spent like 1/10 the orbs

Got Ophelia and a spare Lewyn with not too many orbs spent, so I'm happy. Promptly decked Ophelia out! According to the mass duel simulator, with LaD3 at non +Atk and Blazing Wind, she wins all matches with Special Spiral 3, so that's awesome. Merges would be cool, but only for completionist/scoring purposes

I'm kind of tempted to try to grab another Lewyn fodder, but maybe I should save up for Eirika

At a rough estimate, I think I got 7 Ophelias in around 200 orbs, which is honestly crazy, as well as 2 Hardins, a Lute and a Mikoto.

Kind of glad there's no real draw for me from the Christmas banner. I think I'll also be content with just the Cecilia.

wow, when you were talking about how good your rate was i thought you spent like 400 or 500 orbs. but 200, that's insane. i guess it's basically like 240 when you add in the free summons but still.

Took exactly four hundred (got ephriham on my mast draw) didn't get a single non Christmas five star which was a bummer, but the Christmas ones were all I cared about anyway

You call that a bummer when i consider that as a blessing. I first got combo-broken by Innes, then again by Faye, but luckily got +Res/-HP Ephraim in the same circle. Getting ruined by two archers i care nothing about sucks. How i wish Faye were already demoted

What does it mean to get "combo broken"

Your chance of 5* goes up every 5 unit pulls you make. It gets reset when you get any 5*. So people tend to call it "combo broken" (I feel like it's my fault for making this standard jargon in this topic but I may be mistaken) when their increased 5* rate gets reset by a unit they don't want.

You could always grail her up later if you'd like (Assuming you're not avoiding AR like the plague). It's likely they'll add her to the list eventually.

I still play AR. I've absorbed how insignificant the hero boost actually is and have gotten over it. It's just a dirty on principle thing. It's too insignificant to be pay to win. It's pay to tiebreak at best.

That being said you really want to avoid getting as many guys from AR as you can, especially when you're me and there are like 10 units you like from there. The cost for later grails ramps up really hard.

I play AR for the daily free rewards. And by free rewards I mean the grails you get on the 3rd day. The actual ranking is nice too but I'm not stressing over it.

The Lift boost from having one or more Eir on your team matters if you are trying to reach Tier 19 or higher. Although even Tier 19 is reachable without using Eir, it is just very challenging. You will likely need 2 or 3 Eir if you want to reach Tier 21. The merge bonus is largely overkill right now and it is too soon to see how it affects ranking. Since the top ranking tier is Top 3000, I'm not sure how much the merge bonus will matter. There won't be that many people with 33 Eir.

Innes's refine feels like a cop out. He already doesn't fear mages, and he's not winning against dragons either way with how bulky they are. He would be much more enticing if he gained effective against dragons, but as it stands, I have no motivation to merge him up, but I did try to justify using him. Cordelia, Hinoka, and Klein satisfy my bow needs, and Lyn if I really need it

Speaking of Eir, Sparkling Boost was designed for survival modes. She's pretty much earned a permanent spot in my TT teams, assuming she's not fighting for Iote's Shield with a bonus flier. If there's one thing IS does right, it's giving us amazing colorless freebies. Lyn, Veronica, Eir, and Azura make for a scary team

Innes can do pretty good chip against dragons at no risk and he actually does fear them if they hit back because his defense is garbage. It's a pretty okay refine I think.

Best TT unit is Leif. Chugs down that 99 HP on every map.

I like Innes' weapon. Safe dragon chip damage, or he can outright kill them when he has Iceberg up. I still put him to use in arena assault alongside brave Lucina for those in combat buffs

Feels bad when you still dont have a 5*+10 because the game refuses to give you the optimal IVs. This has been happening with four of my units

I'm getting awfully close to that point with Oboro. She's at +7 right now and while she's using +Res/-Spd which is my second most wanted nature, I'd really prefer +Atk/-Spd. I'm going to have some difficult decisions to make if I draw 3 more.
