Oh yeah, the whole world is racist. But Japan in particular is extremely racist towards foreigners.

Many restaurants wont even let you eat there is you are black, white, or obviously a foreigner.

I've personally been denied service in many places. I've had friends get kicked out.

And no, before you even try to make any assumptions, nobody was being "disruptive" or "not following cultural norms" etc. Just kicked out/denied service for not being Japanese.

I get it. Maybe some tourists in the past were super rowdy, so now they just ban ALL foreigners from certain places. Doesnt make it any less racist. Assuming we're all the same.

Also, Japanese families do not like mixing blood. If their daughters dated an American, he better be a multi-million software engineer....otherwise they don't want anything to do with him. They'll disown the daughter in a heartbeat.

Hypocritically...Japanese men LOVE giant tits. Which are NOT traditionally natural on full-blooded Japanese women.

Tits slowly started becoming a thing when Japanese women started getting more westernized diets in the 90's....and then things got real weird, real fast.

But even with the big jiggly boobie fetish....Japanese men dont want to plow these women. They adore them from afar, or through anime.

They simply arent procreating.

It's a crazy situation over there.

Plus their culture is so "work-focused"....they can't have fun even when they want to. Dudes jumping off office building rooftops or stepping in front of trains. Happens on a regular basis in Japan.

Just feeling like a burden to loved ones....or hospital staff "tolerating" me because Im paying them for the service. And I'd be annoyed with them knowing they are sucking my entire life saving's dry just to keep me in a bed (or something).

As much as people dont like talking about it, Japan is an extremely racist country.

I highly doubt they're looking for non-Asian male stars.

Sure, there might be a few kink scenes they could use a foreigner for.....but generally...I guarantee you they are looking for Japanese men. They just cant find any that want to do it because they're so psychologically damaged over there. Real shame what's happened.

I also hate how people lump all pro-life and pro-choice people into the same umbrella.

There are pro-life people I hate.

It all depends on how they uniquely behave and how they try to justify their stance or (more importantly) shove it in my face.

Deal. Spiders that big will be able to eat way more mosquitoes and will be much easier to avoid. They won't be able to sneak into houses anymore.

Spiders that large might also have some significant medical/military applications.

Think of what we could do with their webbing!

Or train them for military operations. Maybe search and rescue? Surveillance?

Christ....can you imagine how AGILE the jumping spiders would be if they were the size of cats?

Only thing that would concern me is how their diets would need to change.

They might start eating birds instead of bugs. Or cats and dogs. Or people.

If their food source doesnt grow proportionally....they might all starve to death not long after being magically grown to the size of cats.

TopicHow can people not like nightclubs? Clubbing is great fun.
GreenKnight127
08/06/23 11:03:52 AM
#35
I used to, but it depends on the club.

If you go there with a bunch of friends and are kinda familiar with the place...it can be fun.

Your choice in music also matters, as most clubs focus on one style over others.

If your friends drag you to a club where the music is NOT your taste.....ughlk....super annoying.

The biggest issue is that a lot of clubs nowadays are absurdly expensive. Cover charges ranging anywhere from $5 to $20....just because there's some kind of "event" that night, whether it's happening while you are there or not. Standing in line forever just to get an overpriced drink that's probably watered/flavored down in some way to save the bar a couple bucks per drink.

Also, it's always mating season, so the young bucks get super aggressive for no reason. Some dudes go to clubs looking for women...and if they can't find any...they start looking for fights.

Also, as dark as this might sound...it needs to be said: At this point in American society....I kinda hate going anywhere with lots of people for extended periods of time. It just takes that one wacko who wants to shoot up the place. Or a fire. A collapsing dance floor. People getting trampled to death. Riots. Looting. Muggings.

I dunno. What's stopping people from going to the store to buy their own alcohol and have smaller parties in the privacy of their own homes? Invite only people you know.

And then have an orgy.

Can you please give me an example?

I don't recall any new minority characters being hated.

I have definitely seen racists go REEEE when preexisting white characters are made minorities. I am not denying that that exists, and it's shameful.

But totally new and unique black characters being hated?

If anything, they simply aren't 'popular'...so they don't 'sell'. And that's a big distinction to make.

Are they unpopular BECAUSE they are minorities....or because they are UNKNOWN?

Personally I feel that every version should change things. I liked the 87 series but I don't want it every single time. I prefer the 2003 series but wouldn't want any new version to copy it either. I have no problem with April sometimes being Caucasian and sometimes being black. Different universe after all. She also doesn't always have to be attractive.

Multiverse stuff is super trendy these days.

But I think it would be cool if people started coming up with new ideas, instead of taking the same characters and simply doing gender/ethnicity/sexuality swaps of them. It's lazy.

Write NEW material.

I often like to think of all those amazing scripts just sitting on some producer's desk......stuff that would blow Harry Potter out of the water. Stuff that would make Lord of the Rings look like childsplay. But no one wants to take a risk because it isn't a known IP.

no they wouldnt, outrage about this kind of stuff only exists in the wake of changes like this being made because it makes weird people irrationally mad, and then the people who hate this weird people make it into some sort of cultural last stand to protect the race swapped cartoon character

meanwhile normal people either dont care or just think the character looks weird and move on to the next Product

So if they had made April white and traditionally feminine/"attractive"....you dont think anyone would have complained?

No one would have written articles about how it could have been "the perfect opportunity to add diversity to the series" or something?

Have you not been paying attention to pop culture for the past decade?

Any unidentified flying object. It could just be a private jet that passed by so quickly you didnt get a chance to fully "identify" it. So technically that made it a UFO in that instance.

UAPs open up the possibilities of cloud/gas/astrological/cosmic/etc movements as well.

A society saturated in socially acceptable misandry leads to a LOT of depression and suicide amongst young men.

Also, it's extremely toxic to immediately counter any claim of misandry existing with "But women have it worse!"

This isn't the Oppression Olympics where it's a competition to see who is more of a victim.

Men and women both have it bad. It's important to acknowledge that.
