Oh yeah, the whole world is racist. But Japan in particular is extremely racist towards foreigners.

Many restaurants wont even let you eat there is you are black, white, or obviously a foreigner.

I've personally been denied service in many places. I've had friends get kicked out.

And no, before you even try to make any assumptions, nobody was being "disruptive" or "not following cultural norms" etc. Just kicked out/denied service for not being Japanese.

I get it. Maybe some tourists in the past were super rowdy, so now they just ban ALL foreigners from certain places. Doesnt make it any less racist. Assuming we're all the same.

Also, Japanese families do not like mixing blood. If their daughters dated an American, he better be a multi-million software engineer....otherwise they don't want anything to do with him. They'll disown the daughter in a heartbeat.

Hypocritically...Japanese men LOVE giant tits. Which are NOT traditionally natural on full-blooded Japanese women.

Tits slowly started becoming a thing when Japanese women started getting more westernized diets in the 90's....and then things got real weird, real fast.

A lot of older generation Japanese are very racist. It isnt like im gonna say the n word racist like the US, it is more like fear and extreme ignorance, due to having like, no foreigners to interact with. Some shops wont let you in because they are scared to deal with foreigners that dont speak Japanese. But that is changing too. Its mostly just boomers who are scared of anything that isnt what they knew 50 years ago.

They will ban people for being rowdy, and it is usually the foreigners who are. This isnt racism, its just westerners being dumb.

As for the marriage thing, they love the idea of foreigners, actually, because they tend to be more open and affectionate. However, Japanese ideas of marriage and western do NOT mix well, so know what you are getting into before you even consider it. The traditional ideals are NOT compatible.

As for the boob thing, you made that up and yeah, that is stupid and where did you even get that idea. Most people here are completely flat still, which is normal.

And the work thing is pretty much the same as hustle culture in the US, except they only have one job. And they dont kill themselves regularly. This is a myth. Yes it happens. No it is not a regular thing.

This is just based on my experiences and those of friends. Not every situation is the same, keep it in mind.

At least for older generations, love wasnt a big factor for marriage. The idea of the ability to create a good family with money and similar ideals seemed to be best, from what Ive heard and seen. Sometimes they liked eachother. However, morals arent compatible in Japan, as they didnt grow up with western morals in mind. If a partner fails, they will easily replace them. Feelings arent really considered by some. Men will have mistresses just because why not. This might also explain why so many people stay in abusive relationships in Japan, because their partner still gives them the good image in public. Again, this isnt everyone, but others and i have seen it a lot here and it is kind of yikes.

Again, younger people are becoming more open minded. Maybe it is a big reason younger people dont date or marry here, because they are starting to hate those ideals. So whenever a weeb starts saying they want to marry a Japanese woman, i feel like they dont really know what they are diving into. They better find someone who actually understands western ideals of partnership, unless they just want to be a bank for a caretaker.
