Ive watched a couple Red Pill videos out of curiosity.

The moderators find some of the stupidest liberal women (most of them are vapid OF models) and pit them against polished, educated conservative women and try to make it sound like the aforementioned liberal women represent all women. And the moderators on that show always side with the conservative women.

Then the clips get sliced down to 30 second clips and said clips end up circulating the internet. Their goal is to no doubt show that liberalism is a cancer and that feminism is responsible for the breakdown of society.

Sure, and that should be watched out for. But that's not leading to nearly as much abuse and death as the redpill shit is.

I wouldnt be so sure of that.

A society saturated in socially acceptable misandry leads to a LOT of depression and suicide amongst young men.

Also, it's extremely toxic to immediately counter any claim of misandry existing with "But women have it worse!"

This isn't the Oppression Olympics where it's a competition to see who is more of a victim.

Men and women both have it bad. It's important to acknowledge that.

Misandry is indeed a bad thing and generally visible in various legal policies but depression and suicide among young men are usually due to being unable to live up to the alpha male standards that men created, the idea that men are losers for being unable to get laid.

I am conservative yet my youtube is filled with Smash Bros, hiking, food, programmng and vidya game music videos. If you don't like something, click on "not interested" when pulling up the settings just under the bottom right corner of the thumbnail.

Mr. Beast videos for some reason popped up in my feed. Immediately clicked "Not interested" and boom, never appeared again. Same thing when a friend brought up a few videos of Fresh and Fit and the algorithm thought I was a fan. Bing bing pow, couldn't tell you how they're doing nowadays.

Uh, yes, obviously. In reality women are varied people who are attracted to a variety of men just like men. Youre probably thinking of aiming for more desired women that will increase your social class ranking (including among men) and those are both personal issues and also generally values created by men.

That's not really "big tech's" issue, it's yours (and others.) You can 100% control what you get on your feed. Like the TC didn't have to even entertain any of that nonsense to begin with.

Eh, yes and no.

The problem is that a lot of manosphere/alt-right content disguises itself as something else, so unless you approach anything claiming that it's "media analysis" or "self-help" with a side eye, you're bound to accidentally stumble onto one of these videos and by the time you figure out it's more "anti-woke" garbage, YouTube has already started recommending similar content creators.

And then because this content is so low-effort that basically anybody can do it, this shit floods the algorithm in a way that more dense and detailed leftist content can't.

That's not 100% accurate as even then you can control what content mostly ends up on your feed.

Watching something ones or twice shouldn't have that content taking over your feed. And even if you content you don't want on your feed, you can tell YT to not recommend it anymore.

Accidentally coming across it shouldn't have your feed overrun with content you hate.

Logging into YouTube isn't the only thing controlling your feed.

On top of that, the user literally has the power to have YouTube not recommend certain content anymore assuming you aren't doing specific actions that can override that. Like visiting content you just told it not to recommend.

There's this fucked up pathological undercurrent where users will see a slightly obnoxious woman standing next to an actual fucking murderer and thug, and they'll put the thug on a pedestal while calling the woman a shrill bitch who ruins the show for them. Oh she's upset because her family has to get uprooted to avoid the consequences of her husband's crime? What a lazy, soft, two-timing bitch, she just sits on her ass and benefits from her husband's crime and she has the fucking GALL to complain. Shit like that. The prevalence in YouTube shorts in particular is really fucked up.

Because for these misogynists no matter how bad men may be any time a woman does something even mildly comparative or distasteful she is treated so much worse.

Like, I saw some wrestling video on IG the other day with a female wrestler doing that cringey grandstanding, think she called someone a bitch or something on the mic shortly after doing her walk, and there were all these misogynists in the threads as if the dudes who have been doing this for decades don't also come off extremely cringey and seemingly pathetic.

I remember being a kid and laughing whenever someone would go "CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?!" cause they just sounded so fucking dumb. Yet when a woman tries to act like that, suddenly she's ruining wrestling and a problem that needs to be addressed.

online dating is hard even if youre ahead of the curve on attractiveness. people instantly peg you for a certain type and you have to check every box or you are passed up. youre either the guy who looks like the fuckboi who hurt her before or youre the nerd whos just not attractive.
people dont go out as much anymore, theres less communal spaces to do anything. people in general (not just women but women included) are more standoff ish than ever before in public. theres a weird double standard unspoken larry david esque type rule when its ok to hit on women, and even then it might not be ok, you dont want to be the guy that gets shame blasted on social media just trying to have a basic social interaction.

it kind of makes easy pickings for disillusioned young men.
