There's no difference I see worth noting. 15 years of imprisonment is insanely cruel, a day of brutal torture is just a quicker way to dole it out. As far as I'm concerned, if you're willing to subject an innocent man to 15 years of prison, you should be willing to kill one or torture one. It's one thing to put a man in a cell for a crime he may or may not have committed.

Not everyone in prison is guilty for their crime.

Sometimes there are false accusations that can lead to arrests.

Sometimes juries can be INCREDIBLY stupid....and convict someone of a crime they didn't commit. They were just easily swayed by a fancy lawyer and some kind of personal bias the prosecutor took advantage of.

Sometimes juries convict someone just because they are more scared by the possibility he didn't commit the crime....but it would be worse to risk letting an innocent man go free on the OFF CHANCE he did commit the crime.

Sometimes the law just needs someone to take a fall for the crime. There needs to be blame and justice assigned.

You have to take into consideration that some of the people in prison are totally innocent, so perhaps stringing them all up by their balls in a public square while an audience cheers....isn't exactly the best idea?

I've never done pixel art, but I've done lots of other art.

Most of the YouTube tutorials I've seen, there are tons of little tricks.

One guy would draw his characters in a very traditional style....and then put them in Photoshop or something and intentionally pixelate them with filters. That would give him a good idea of what aspects of the model need to be less pixelated than others to have it still look faithful to his vision, but also be pixelated.

I LOVE pixel art games. Backgrounds, character models, animations.

The biggest tip would just to be patient.....and not overthink your creations. Just play around and have fun.

There was a game a few years back called Songbringer. It was probably one of the funnest games I've played in a loooooong time and the pixel art was so simplistic...it was almost "bad". But it was done so well, and everything moved just right.....it was beautiful in a strange way. I highly recommend looking into it for inspiration.

Then you could level up into stuff like Hyper Light Drifter and Dead Cells.

Everything is controlled by their hands.

The energy projects from their hands. They guide telekinesis by waving their hands around all dramatically...mimicking what they are doing with the objects they are controlling. Magneto has to move his hands around all the time. Professor X HAS to put his damn fingers to his temple when he uses his power (it makes me cringe every fucking time). Spider-Man shoots webs out of his wrists.

You'll have two wizards fight and they gotta wave their arms all around, gather energy into their hands, charge up an attack, you see it coming from a mile away....they shoot two energy beams at each other and just groan and scream while they push the energy against each other and wait to see who is stronger and pushes through the other's attack....

Nintendo 64 (because literally all my friends had one)

Xbox 360 (cuz it sucks)

Nintendo Switch (all my friends have one!)

And many obscure ones that nobody has ever heard of because they don't really count.

The only amazing game I've seen so far is Breath of the Wild.

Metroid Prime 4 might be good, but after the offensive way they handled Other M........I am extremely skeptical.

Shin Megami Tensei V would be the system seller for me.....if only they'd give us more information on it. And confirm whether or not it's Switch "exclusive" vs. "timed" exclusive.

I've always had better luck on the other consoles when it comes to deep and rewarding experiences.

Nintendo really needs to step it up.

I remember one particular day at my work.....I had this little "get out of work free" card thingie. One free day I could pick to just not need to come in.

So I went back home and enjoyed my time. Then at like 11am a coworker texted me asking if I wanted to go out. I texted back, "I thought you guys had work today?"

And he was like, "Oh, we got out early today."

Playing it for the first time, I was mesmerized by the level design. The way you can see each level far off in the distance, connected to other levels in very clever and unexpected way. Big seamless world.

Somewhere online, a guy meticulously build a 3D rendering of what the entire world looks like when you fit it all together. It was pretty awesome. How deep Lost Izalith is. How deep the Four Kings abyss is.

Some really good DLC as well.

But gankers and multiplayer in general was literal hell.

Kojima is awesome. But his Metal Gear days are exhausted. You could tell if you played The Phantom Pain. He was just spent at that point. Had nothing else to give.

He basically gave all the fans (and Konami) the middle finger with that game.
