3 gives off a better first impression and depending on if you loved the earlier games and want actual rollplaying elements in it, 3 can peter out pretty quickly. NV takes longer to get going and its world comes off as more "dull", but has a lot of the aspects an old school fallout player would like.

basically NV for veterans, 3 for new players.

theyre a mediocre AR brand now since most of the talent of the past went over to Windham Weaponry (which are quite nice), but then if you just want something to take to the range then they will be good enough. AR's, like 1911's have gotten to the point where pretty much anyone can make something decent. that said get the S&W, better quality thats more than worth the little extra cost.

ChainedRedone posted...
Also, how's the Springfield AR?
very good assuming you dont mind supporting a company who sold gun owners out (or just buy used). has a lot of more quality features in it that youd find in more premium AR's, but then for the cost you can probably get a colt 6920 build kit which is a rifle that would most likely hold up better.

because the people who know nothing about them are the ones trying to tell others how things should be on them.

but overall it doesnt matter. it doesnt matter if you try to correct someone on something. the people who are trying to make the laws DONT CARE. they dont care what something is called or how they work. they just want to kill everyones constitutional rights because it makes them feel good.

they dont make very many retention holsters for concealed carry and the ones there are are very limited in the type of firearm you can carry in it.

they dont mention what type of gun or holster it was of which some of them are really really light and small (around half a pound for instance, like my lcp II) so you might not actually know its gone especially if you still felt the holster was in place. you can easily replace the weight (or close to it) with some change, a knife in your pocket ect. some holsters are designed to just fit in your pocket or someone may use a trigger guard holster which is basically just a string hooked to your belt with a paddle that fits over the trigger guard and then you just put the gun in your pocket. something like that its possible to have the gun fall out of your pocket and its weight pushed it out of its holster.

regardless theres a level of personal responsibility involved in any method because no method is flawless. he should be held to some standard. possibly a fine, but people calling for jail time are insane. no one was hurt and he had no ill intentions and at worst violating a private gun free zone is a misdemeanor.

It's older too. Why would a safety taken away? That sounds odd.
its another step you have to worry about, which under duress isnt good. it takes a lot more training and practice to get good at manually activating the safety once you pull it from the holster and even then its hard to know if your brain will click when under heavy pressure so a lot of people opt to not have one to worry about at all and put their faith in their trigger discipline and a good holster.

while very rare they can also hinder the functionality of guns with extra parts of the firearm that could be damaged or come undone (like rubbing up against something engaging or disengaging the safety). this is/was an issue with new smith and wesson revolvers that had their keylocks be engaged while firing when they wernt supposed to.

if you want a nice inbetween you can also think about a glock 26 which is smaller for concealed carry, but also uses the same magazines as the 17 or 19 so you can carry with the 10rounds while out and about and then put in the longer 17 or even 33 round magazines for home defense.

if you dont have too much gun expereince and just want something that will work and you can depend on it then yeah the glock 19 is probably the one to get. now if you actually plan to carry it through-out the day then you might want something thats a little more concealable. a glock 43 or an M&P shield might be a better option.

i would recommend getting out and trying them though. the best gun is going to be the one that you shoot the best.

its more about showing the insane over reaction to the situation. its the same deal with the left calling those who dont agree with them as being nazis or republicans being evil, trump being literally hitler ect.

i dont like that familys are being separated like this and i do think they should stick with their familys until things are sorted out (and not all of them are like this. theres a lot of cases where people DO use children to get across the border), but at the same time you cant compare these detention centers to being equal to nazi concentration camps. there is no real comparison and doing so only lessens what actually happened in those nazi camps.

saying that this is a first step is also insulting considering the modern day we live in. no one would ever let it get to that point in this country. even if trump was LITERALLY HITLER, theres too much social media monitoring every aspect of these kids lives, too many outside powers that would stand to loose something if the US went down that path (the US is not some third world shit hole, it brings in too much for the rest of the world not to care) and too many citizens with access to firepower. theres too many contingencies in place to allow the gas chambers to be set up and the graves be dug behind the playground.

the game definitely has a trial by fire approach and can be really realy brutal and tedious in the opening hours, but through leveling it really feels like youre improving your character that a lot of games really forgo in favor of ease of use.

been a long time, but from what i remember leveling into weapon types will slowly eliminate the constant misses. i recall having around 30-40 pts in long blades and rarely missed with my katana after that. you can also utilize the enchanting system which pisses all over the ones in oblivion and skyrim to the point you can easily break the game in all sorts of hilarious ways. if you think your going too slow then enchant some boots and then role play the flash and clear the entire island in 30seconds. if youre pissed at the stamina system then enchant some gloves that constantly regenerate it.

theres an insane amount of systems in the game that allows you to play it how ever you want assuming you can overcome that initial learning curve.
