While I couldn't imagine doing labor for a living I know plenty of people that couldn't sit in front of a computer all day. To each their own

I've done both but I actually prefer blue collar (especially if the pay is dece) because it feels much more stimulating/active to me. I go nuts if I have to sit in a chair in front of a computer all day.

edit: might as well vent about this more. i work as a dishwasher, since it seems to be the only job i can ever get. it's bad because (1) i fucking hate the restaurant industry, even if the people are chill and (2) i get into an ambivalent state of mind where i either feel like the job is beneath me/i could do something more interesting OR, the job actually really suits me because i am a lot less competent than i want to admit

A lot of blue collar workers, I could not imagine sitting in an office. Like the guys who built my fence and deck this last week. Great workers but they would loathe an office job.

White collar. I love technology and I cant stand shit like camping, gardening, and painting. I do think electricity and plumbing are interesting, and something like welding is pretty cool.
