It's a double edged sword because when Nintendo finally acts on ideas that people push they becomes exceedingly lazy.

Look at the HD remake trend. Everyone was clamoring for their favorite first party titles to be remade. Now we get shit like Mario 3-D All-Stars where Nintendo realizes taping 3 Romhacks together can sell for 60 bucks. They're like the Al Capone of the video game industry. Dumb as hell but able to milk money maliciously to no end once they finally catch on.

Same shit with the new Mario party. Nintendo finally acted on common sense with the upcoming Mario Party Superstars, but it took a decade and will lead to them repackaging and reselling more and more "classics" to sate the raging nostalgia boners of their fanbase for as little effort as possible.

Are you clarifying that you want it dry? Because the majority of customers that order a Cappuccino wind up complaining that it's "50% foam" and return it. I used to work as a Barista, and I know the majority of staff I would work with got to a point where unless the person specified, or they were a regular, they would make their cappuccino's either 70/30 or 80/20 liquid to foam to avoid dealing with angry stupid people.

Just tell them you want it dry. And if they don't know what that means, you're totally justified in your general disdain.

Half of them know it and enjoy it or don't care. The other half are so brandead they don't even notice or are convinced they were attacked first.

The difference in being disenfranchised and "feeling" disenfranchised is your ability to act upon it. Those who "feel" disenfranchised have the resources to fly to D.C. and act on impulse.

Those who are actually disenfranchised realize that if they miss their second job their kid doesn't get to eat lunch because school is out now.

This is a situation where the macro is way more important than the micro. Ashlii Babbitt was a symptom of a much larger problem wherein the mere perception of being disenfranchised can lead to radicalization. You can condemn the individual, you can make them a martyr, but ultimately the individual is unimportant compared to the process that got her to that point.

You have to do something to address that perception and subsequent radicalization or else we'll be having this same story with different names time and time again.

The core of conservatism is based upon the concept of sanctity. When you remove religion from the equation you have people applying the concept of sanctity via their fear of defilement of concepts they hold sacrosanct.

Essentially you go from embracing the concept of sanctity to fearing the idea of defilement. This doesn't apply to everyone, or even necessarily apply to the majority, but I have witnessed it firsthand more than once.

It's just so good. The good songs are good. The jingles are catchy. The intentionally bad songs are iconic.

Depending on if you had beaten or lost to him X amount of times?

What an incredibly cool concept that they totally abandoned for no real reason.

What they should do next gen is give you a rival who really lacks confidence. The first fight should be borderline un-loseable, like the did in Sword and Shield.....but if you intentionally throw the first fight, your rival gains confidence and basically activates hard mode for the game, giving them much stronger teams with balanced compositions.

If you win the first fight they progress normally and find their confidence by the end of the game, but you miss out on them becoming an absolute juggernaut of a rival.

It's just shameful that 1st gen actually innovated something that was completely abandoned afterwards, when the concept could be expanded upon and make for some dope content and replay value at this point.
