I appreciate the design intentions of the rain, but it does get old. After I was halfway done with the game, Id just put the controller down until the rain stopped.

Yeah, I felt Arondir is a solid dude but not really compelling. And he (and Bronwyn and Theo) had to carry a lot early on.

The first four episodes didn't give me a lot of hope for the showrunners. I enjoyed it well enough, but I'm a sucker for Middle Earth stuff. The last four episodes were definitely much better. I'm so pleased that it ended up being good. Really looking forward to Adar v Sauron and as much Durin III/IV as I can get.

Yeah a pyroclastic flow would kill all those people in spectacular and sudden fashion. I'll admit that it did 'bother' me a bit but it was cool.

The showrunners worked with the Tolkien Estate to make sure the overall story points were OK. They are condensing 1500-2000 years (and potentially more). So it is a bit different but not what I would characterize as wildly so.

I Watched the first episode and didnt really like it.

Lanz was the MVP but it looks like no one else is thinkin it.

If you told me there was a mockumentary of the Boy Band / teen pop scene and this was the intentionally comical and terrible soundtrack for it, I'd believe it. I took a minute to see what their first album is like, and it's better because they ripped off better material to make it. It's rare that I will put down music that I don't like (these days) and I know BSB is an easy target, but yikes.

Larger Than Life - This is a 3/10 song and it is by far the best song on the album
I Want It That Way - Really just makes me think of all the atrocious crude parodies of the song. It's a bad song plagued with even worse memories of unacceptable external bits. Somehow it's the second best thing on the album.

Sigrid was too difficult for me to rate - I found a couple songs to be catchy, the rest just didn't grab me, and I couldn't really order the tracks. Maybe I could have given my top two and 'cheated' on the remaining songs and ordered them close to how it looked like everyone else ranked them, but eh. So I guess I'll just say I thought Sucker Punch was the best song on the album and the rest probably close enough to everyone else's order.

#1 and #2 were easy. 3-5 feel impossible to rank. 6-9 (nu metal, eagles, cranberries) were fairly easy. After that it's 8 albums that could float around my rankings if I did this same list in a year. Then Mos Def which I recognize as being very good. After that is the stuff I don't think I cared about a whole lot. Japanese Breakfast is possibly the only one from this part of the list that I felt confident in ranking at all.

Previous topic - I'm not a big fan of that style of punk/emo, but didn't really want to pile on.

Episode 2 done. Really good!

I would go with My War for this topic series tbh.

Got out of BBIG last week while the getting was good after deliberating potential roadmaps. I don't think the squeeze potential is there anymore. And the answer to "how does Ted make the most money from all this?" is also the path of max pain for retail- merger stalls more, Zash buys adrizer, let's BBIG go bankrupt, and goes public via a SPAC. That updated valuation is still on the table but the odds of going to zero are rising. So back to stacking btc and eth for me.

This album starts off like a greatest hits album. Overall this was like ranking two albums - the songs I like and the songs I don't care much about. Ranking the top three songs wasn't easy at all, and then the next set of five was another fun challenge. Elton John is amazing.
