This album was very ok but ultimately pretty forgettable unfortunately. Most songs kinda blended together

Also, before I forget again, perhaps the next two OPs could have links to the Rank the Albums topic (with reminders that there's no need to listen to the whole list), or maybe separate posts would work better? --- "I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people who do." pronouns: she/her or they/them | never knows what to say ... The Black Flag reference isn't off putting to me, but it does make me question some things. Henry Rollins, a VERY prolific speaker has said that they made sure the Black Flag logo was very distinct and distinguishable... they made it to sell it, even for generations to come. But who says The Grateful Dead didn't do exactly that? So the question then is... is it actually disingenuous to slap either of those logos on a symbol of wealth and luxury when those logos were in fact meant to make make money. Who is the hypocrite here... the bands that "sold out" or the artists that would try to sell a song by name dropping those bands? Capitalism. You have it or you don't. That's a fallacy... You know, because you have it. (>_>) --- "If you ever feel good about yourself, just look on the Internet." - Ryan Reynolds ... Copied to Clipboard!

1. Boys of Summer 2. My Reply 3. In This Diary 4. So Long, Astoria 5. Takeoffs and Landings 6. All You Can Ever Learn is What You Already Know 7. The Hero Dies in This One 8. Radio #2 9. Looking Back on Today 10. I Wont Spend Another Night Alone 11. Summer 79 12. Unopened Letter to the World 13. Eight of Nine 14. The Saddest Song (Acoustic) 15. The Saddest Song Updated list to add the acoustic version of The Saddest Song. Id say its better than the regular version but theyre still my least favorite tracks on the album. The acoustic version at least ups the emotional weight of the song a bit. Considering the subject matter, I thought the regular version was a little flat in the emotion department. --- Bear Bro The Empire of Silence ... Copied to Clipboard!
