I prefer when they're focused on the investigators and their investigative process, rather than the execution of the crimes themselves --- You did indeed stab me in the back. I dont think True Crime is always bad, some of the better instances have brought killers to justice or set innocent people free. From purely a production standpoint, I thought it was a very well-put-together and engaging series. They mastered the time jumping effectively to give a good story flow. Pretty much everything in the story is based on true events, which is crazy considering some of the stuff that happens. The show also shifts its focus from episodes 5ish onward off of Dohmer and moreso on the victims and surrounding people. One episode in particular, which is almost completely devoted to one of the victims, who was deaf, was very touching and at the same time ominously tragic. I respect those who choose not to see it.
