Zeke wasn't bad in the passing game as a receiving back. He really shouldn't be the featured back for a team but in a committee style RB room, I think he's good. He had some good games for us. I don't think he was part of the problem, though yeah the pass blocking numbers are worse than I thought theyd be.

He was solid in NE last year and had a great attitude. I like Zeke as a player and it was really fun to have him on the team.

My main concern about Daniels is that the dude took a lot of BIG hits in college. He seems to invite contact, and that won't work in the NFL.

Fair enough. I do think Burrows has had nice WRs in Cincy and I don't see that happening in NE in the near future. Daniels will be taking a lot of abuse behind NE's line as well. I think he can be a good pro! I just think I'd rather have MHJ at 3.

For the Pats...

1. MHJ and then take a swing at Pratt later in the draft
2. Maye and then Coleman in the second round

I think I've decided that Daniels success downfield was based way too much on the WRs

I really don't want the Pats to trade down. I am getting the suspicion that I will need to be talking myself into JJ McCarthy by the end of the night

Just pick Nabers at 4 if MHJ is gone. You won't have to worry about it though.

I'm intrigued but I don't know that the genre really does it for me at the moment. I didn't really fall in love with the Disney one and that should have been up my alley a bit.

Jello helped. I enjoyed the prep oddly enough because I had to fill my belly (mine was mixed with gatorade and I only felt nauseous for a few minutes).

I didn't mind all the shitting. The hunger wasn't fun, I ended up with a headache and I was sorta bored. I think I was so focused on the prep that I let my day become centered around that, unfortunately.

It's a horrendous implementation of a really worthwhile feature.

In my IRL community, some folks like the update! If you're heavy, the new body types are good. And I think folks like that they can identify with an avatar that is more realistic for them.

But for a lot of folks these updates are really bad, and the majority of existing style options do not look good anymore. I wish they had just added a third body type OR added the ability to recreate the old models using the new system.

Yeah, it's weird how the option of just closing the beach never came up in the original. People in the past sure were stupid.

I dunno if you're teasing me, but yeah it's a big part of the plot - the mayor doesn't want to close the beach. They might actually close it before they kill the small shark, I forget >_>

But these days they just have spotter planes and they close the beaches and that's it. I guess it's just hard to have Jaws in a post-Jaws world.

I have a hard time seeing Jaws being rebooted. We just close beaches now, have spotter planes, etc. They'd have to deal with conservation backlash as well.

I guess a Godzilla Minus One style reboot could be reasonable.

I'll say yeah because I love Godzilla... but of those three, GvK is the best

I saw an unironic review of the GxK: "Finally a movie has come out and knocked Battleship off the top of my favorite movies".

GvK is properly a Godzilla movie and a Kong movie. It runs a little long but the final battles are worth it.

For GxK I head read a long time ago that they wanted to introduce a new kaiju that fell so flat that they swapped in Mothra and hacked out a bunch of the movie.

For my money, MHJ and Nabers are the best two guys. I wouldn't be shocked if Nabers is a more dangerous NFL WR.

But at the same time we need a QB, we need a rookie QB contract, and we need a good QB to become a destination for free agents again. So I guess the realistic ideal situation is Maye #3 and Coleman #34.

I suspect he faces some isolation in the real world. I think he's generally satisfied with our interactions even though there isn't much substance there. I'm relieved Fields got moved to the Steelers. A few weeks ago there was serious news campaigns about us swapping our first round pick with the Bears' #9 for Fields.
