I honestly liked the original (2003) better, specifically the darker tone and I thought the art style was more unique.

I understand that Brotherhood is good and the technically superior version, but it felt more like your run of the mill anime to me.

My opinion would probably be different if I watched Brotherhood first but eh it is what it is.

Back when I was 18 I had never really been in a public shower or been nude around anyone really except for like two girls. I had certainly never been naked in front of another guy or vice versa.

I wont say usually, but It definitely can be. Especially if that chummy relationship affects the manager/supervisors ability to reel in the reins when necessary.

You also open yourself up to more likely being manipulated/taken advantage of. As well if you have obviously better relationships/are closer with certain people than you are with others you can look biased or like youre playing favorites even if youre not.

Thats not to say you have to run the place like a damn drill instructor, you just have to know how to balance being chill/chummy and being the boss. Ive known plenty of people that could do both.
