I currently playing gothic 2 notr as a pure mage and I run out of mana after just facing like 3 weak monsters. Bull crap af!!!!!!! No mana regeneration either so have to chug mana potions (which i didn't have many for like the first 20 hours of the playthrough) or go to sleep which can be a hassle (10 min walk or so to a bed). I remember taking out much larger groups of enemies in BOTW before a weapon breaks and there are a ton of weapons to pick up. So it was never much of a hindrance really --- I'm a Taurus. There are weapons everywhere, you will always find more weapons, and the durability forces improvisation and makes battles more hectic and makes you think more strategically with how you use said weapons, too. The entire system was built around that, its not like its some schlocky thing that doesnt fit with the overall game or an obvious grinding mechanic. You might of thought you were making a solid point, but you actually made it worse with that highly dramatic comparison. Becoming attached to characters is the sign of a good story imo. Do you watch movies or shows and just say oh who cares what happens it is just a show? Ivany2008 03/28/23 1:35:05 PM #50:	I don't mind weapon degrading, what what I'll never understand is why the Master Sword, the supposed strongest weapon in all of Hyrule only had a measily 30 base attack, when at that point in the game most other weapons had double if not triple its attack. Even if it had a 10 minute cooldown timer. I know it grows to 60 when near Ganon or when you complete the Trial of the Sword, but its still very weak for what should be the best weapon in the game.
