The economy was dead, his art career had failed, he had no skills or prospects and he ultimately rejoined the army because he had nothing else to do and WW1 was the only part of his life he enjoyed. Then the army sent him to infiltrate DAP and once he started he never left politics until killed himself. So let's say NEET Hitler after WW1 buys a lottery ticket from some tabaccoist in Munich after dejectedly being turned down from another job. Then wins the jackpot 3,000,000DM which is what? $20,000,000 in todays money? What would have happened? There's no way he would have gone back to the amy, would have no entry point into politics, no Beer Hall Putsch, no prison time. The Nazi party built it's resurgance around him and his stupid speeches. They would obviously still exist but without him would be like Republicans without Trump. Just as vile but never winning anything. At the time he had no legal citizenship, would he have gone crawling back to Austia or get his German ceritizenship sorted sharpish? Would he still develop the same drug habbits and paranoia? What would he spend his money on? What would he invest in? He used to live in England and absolutely loved right-wing America, do you think he might have moved back to Liverpool or move to New York amongst the people he was just fighting to properly enjoy his riches outside of the post war wreck that was Germany? Would WW2 still occur? And either way, would they invade Russia? Would the Nazis even rise to power in the first place? I'm not an NFL or Boxing fan but I am Rugby fan and they have tried really hard to change the rules in the wake of concussion awareness and its made the game a lot slower and less hard hitting. Don't get me wrong it's the correct decision but Rugby fans around the world are furious, And NFL fans are even less caring and more sociopathic than rugby ones (look at the response to the kneeling protest) I don't see how you can have a full contact sport with large aggressive men tackling each other over and over and over and over and over and over again and not be a stupidly dangerous. At this point it's kind of just "Do you want the players to be alive and happy or do you want to watch the sport!? When a technician did very sloppy work on the drive plate and it caused catastrophic system failure across the ship. This damage lead to a radiation leak that killed nearly everyone on board and wrecked everything. Well almost everything. There is 1 unmolested escape pod left that barely fits one person inside and has enough air and supplies to take them back to Earth. Probably land around Australia. The launch came hours after U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris departed from South Korea, the last stop of a four-day Asian trip on which she emphasized a U.S. commitment to defend its allies in the face of increasing North Korean threats. Thursday's launch was the third round of missile tests by North Korea this week. North Korea test-fired two ballistic missiles on Wednesday, a day before Harris visited South Korea, and one before she left Washington on Sunday. Harris capped her four-day trip to Asia with a stop at the Demilitarized Zone dividing the Korean Peninsula as she emphasized the ironclad U.S. commitment to the security of its Asian allies in the face of an increasingly hostile North Korea. The visit comes on the heels of North Koreas latest missile launches and amid concerns that the country may conduct a nuclear test. Visiting the DMZ has become something of a ritual for American leaders hoping to show their resolve to stand firm against aggression. North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles on Wednesday, while Harris was in Japan, and fired one before she left Washington on Sunday. The launches contribute to a record level of missile testing this year that is intended to move North Korea closer to being acknowledged as a full-fledged nuclear power. At the DMZ, Harris went to the top of a ridge, near guard towers and security cameras. She looked through bulky binoculars as a South Korean officer pointed out military installations on the southern side. Then an American officer pointed out some of the defenses along the military demarcation line, including barbed-wire fences and claymore mines. He said American soldiers regularly walk patrols along a path. Harris then visited one of a row of blue buildings that straddle the demarcation line, where an American officer explained how the buildings are still used to conduct negotiations with North Korea. Sometimes they pass messages back and forth and sometimes they use a megaphone, he said. She then walked out of the building and up to the demarcation line. On the North Korean side, two figures dressed in what appeared to be hazmat suits peeked out from behind a curtain in a second-floor window. Then they disappeared back inside. Harris described the North Korean missile launches as provocations meant to destabilize the region" and said the United States and South Korea remain committed to the complete denuclearization" of the North.
