How do you know who blocked you?

You could ask someone. Or you could log into an alt if you have one (but it has to be one that isnt blocked by that person). If its a board without restrictions, you ca. just log out to see who it is

I have 5 people on ignore and they've all been inactive for 2 or more years. So what's the point?

That makes sense. I dont know why anyone would even want to block me since I havent been argumentative with anyone in about two years.

Some people do it for no reason. Others do it for past grudges they cant let go of

If you have a person blocked/ignored then that means you can't mark them when they do bad things.

I've seen a lot of growth in this topic. But there's more to be done.

Please look inward and release your suffering. Don't forget, suffering belongs to the person experiencing it. It can only be truly mended by the person going through it. External forces can lend a helping hand but they cannot ultimately terminate the suffering for you.

I only have a few accounts ignored or blocked. All trolls or alts who just come here to clog up the board. Much better experience not having to wade through their junk.

The site is full of snowflakes. Blocking just inconveniences users and encourages people to go throwaway or not bother making an account if they only care for game boards.

I don't have anyone blocked. Blocking is such a useless feature IMO.

Types who want the last word, and this is their best way to get it. To them they somehow one upped the person they blocked.

It's even more comical when it's used as a threat.

Oh I do have one user blocked: Full_Throttle. I remember why because they spam shill topics every single day. Imagine waking up at noon everyday, logging in on gamefaqs and spam the front page of your favorite propaganda pieces for 5 cents per 10 topics. Nah you can stay blocked.

Pretty much. Log out to get the full uncensored version of a board and only log in when you feel like posting. Doesn't work with boards with level reading requirements like this one, but you can just keep a dedicated lurker to bypass people's personal echo chambers. Alternatively just go full throwaway. Every time you make a new burner you get a block reset. The admins have basically devalued old accounts.

does it auto put ppl on ignore if they get suspended while u got em blocked?
