but recently she was at a concert and it was a shitshow. There is this toxic Karen at my gym, she is 40, morbidly obese, she uses the gym as a daycare for her kids. She hops on the treadmill and walks, sometimes she stops it and just stands on it while texting for long periods of time (not even walking!) and she brings her 4 year old kid to the gym with her. She puts his toys on the treadmill next to her, so that treadmill is used pretty much for several hours with fucking toys and and iPad. Then the little shit goes to the other machines and plays with them too.

as far as I know, Lizzo hasn't done anything to convince people to be overweight other than showing that she's happy with who she is, and she hasn't been the kinda person to spread hatred or negativity. so that whole "both sides" thing is bullshit, and only assigns blame to someone who doesn't deserve any in this scenario.

This is true - she's classically trained, has played since childhood and took a BA degree in playing the flute. Years before all of this booted off she was being credited with woodwind coming back into the mainstream.

This isn't like she was strolling past it on display and grabbed it without permission to do raunchy poses with it for Twitter likes - she was specifically invited by the Library of Congress to perform on that flute, and is - without hyperbole - probably one of the most qualified famous musicians in America to do so.

Nobody gives a shit that she played the flute, they give a shit that she did so while being black, because rich elderly white dudes can't get their head around how someone black and predominantly famous for hip-hop could possibly also utterly outclass them at classical music, which they see as "their" field.
