Cell was great before he became perfect. Up until that he was this creepy, monstrous thing that came out of a horror film. The Z-fighters were chasing him down. I actually git chills when Picollo first encountered him. And there's the double conflict where they want to stop the androids, but also have to make sure Cell doesnt get them.

But then he became perfect and he got kind of boring. Gohan makes up for it though.

I rewatched the Buu saga a few years ago and it wasnt as bad as I remember. Feels a lot better when youre not waiting week after week for it.

I still think Imperfect Cell is the best version of Cell.

Oh shit guys, I just searched for her Facebook and found it.

From the looks of it, she's very serious about her religion(Catholicism) and she's a big fan of Donald Trump. Now, I'm not really political or religious but I know from personal experience that combination is not always a good one.

Should I abort the mission or keep going for it?

I met her this semester. She's in my chemistry and calculus classes. Problem is we work together in chemistry and she likes to partner up with me for the calculus quizzes. Therefore, if I ask her out and get rejected, it might be a little awkward for the rest of the semester.

"Well TC, how does this girl feel about you?".

I don't know. She makes an effort to talk to me and she tried to get to know me. She remembered me from a class we had together last semester that had about 100 people. No idea how she remembers me but she did. She likes to joke around with me a lot. Probably the biggest thing I noticed is that her eyes always seem dilated when she talks to me.

"Pics"

I've seen one pic of her online and it looks nothing like her IRL. Looks like a completely different person unless that's the true power of a tan + make-up + hair dye.

Should I go for it, CE? She's cute.

I came home last night at around 12 am and started to walk up the stairs only to hear my parents having very loud sex in their room. Since I have to walk past their room to get to my room, I decided to chill in the kitchen instead of risking them seeing me or me seeing them. BIG mistake since I had like no headphones. For the next 20 minutes, I just listened to my parents fucking, man. Worst part is my mom texted me just before I walked in the house. She was texting me while getting plowed by my dad.

It's morning now and I haven't left my room yet. How do I face them without it being awkward after this? We're not the type of family to talk about sex openly. My parents never gave me some sort of "talk" when I entered puberty. The topic of sex is the one thing we never mention around each other.

I'm just going to go out there and potentially take the loss. I hope they don't say anything about last night.

You guys ever walk in on your parents having sex?

Without a 2 week notice? I work at Books A Million located at a mall. The pay is a little above minimum wage in my state which is $8.10 but I make $8.45. Anyways, I've been there for a few months now and I can't stand it anymore. Customers treat you like shit in every retail job, I understand that. However, there is so much bullshit going on with that job. I just can't do it anymore.

You would think it's a book store and I wouldn't being doing too much. Just stocking books, helping people, and ringing out customers, right? Wrong. Employees clean the bathrooms. We mop both the upstairs and downstairs floor. We vacuum, sweep, and dry mop. Management will sometimes give us a tool box to actually build shit. We're asked to push around the elderly. We're asked to sell people membership cards and magazines. The magazines are a huge scam but I won't get into that. We're asked to watch customers and we are to try and stop people from stealing.

There is a lot of stuff I'm leaving out but you guys get the gist. Management is incompetent. There was a time where someone found marijuana on the store floor and management tested every employee in the store that day. Since people come to the store to do drug deals sometimes, it was probably dropped by a dealer or something but nope. It had to be one of the employees! Fucking lame.

Most of my coworkers treat me like garbage. They stereotype me to hell and back. I'm the black guy so I apparently do loads of drugs. I'm also the youngest one working there. I'm 20 and everyone else is over the legal drinking age so I get flak for not being able to drink legally yet. I can tell they look down on me because of the way they speak to me. One of the leads working there is always hounding me over the walkies. As soon as I finish one task she gives me, it's on to the other. One time, the store was dead and I had a seat at my register so I sat down for a few minutes. Other employees have chairs, too so I'm not the only one who sits. This same lead came and took away the chair complaining that I was a slacker even though the other employee at the register is on his phone 24/7.

I have other stories like coworkers giving me their work and taking all the credit for themselves. There are coworkers who are supposed to help me do stuff like mop the floor but instead, go off to chat with other coworkers leaving me to do everything by myself. There's no point in me complaining to management because I'm fairly sure they don't like me very well, either. They blatantly make me work harder than the other employees. One time, myself and two other employees were standing around just talking since the store was dead. Management found out and pulled only me aside to give me tasks. The other two employees got to spend the last two hours just standing the same stop talking.

Today, I have another 8 hour shift from 2pm to 10pm. I just can't do it anymore, CE. I don't have another job lined up right now but I've been sending in applications. I've been told you should only quit when another job is lined up but my college schedule has become a lot more heavier this semester so I'm fine with not having a job for a few weeks. This was my first job so is it usually like this? To give a little more context, we had about 10 people quit within the past month or so.

TopicSony is considering putting Jumanji sequel up against Star Wars Episode IX
The_Scarecrow

Sony is very happy with the surprise success of their sequel/reboot Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. So happy, in fact, that they might be willing to put the release of the next Jumanji film up against a fierce competitor: Star Wars: Episode IX. Heres what we know about the possible Jumanji sequel release date.

In a new piece from The Wall Street Journal, Sony motion-pictures chief Tom Rothman reveals hes pleased-as-punch with the surprise box office success of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. As WSJ reports, Sonys motion-picture business has outgrossed all competitors so far in 2018 thanks to a smash-hit sequel to a 1995 family film. Obviously, any time a studio has a big hit on their hands, the first thing they want to start talking about is a sequel. Sony is apparently so confident in Jumanji now that not only are they going full-steam-ahead with a sequel, they might also be willing to put that sequel head-to-head with Star Wars: Episode IX. Per WSJ, Mr. Rothman said he hoped to have a sequel ready around Christmas of 2019, when it will again face off against a new Star Wars.

Star Wars: Episode IX is due out December 20, 2019, and while most competitive studios would look at that release date as a no-go for their big films, Sony might be brave enough to give that date a try. However, theres always a chance they might settle for another December weekend perhaps the weekend before Episode IX to get a jump on it. Or perhaps after Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle opened a week after The Last Jedi hit theaters, a date that most studios didnt want to touch. Rothman claims he was unperturbed, however. From early on looking at the footage, it was clear this was a Christmas movie families would want to see together, he says. I thought we could spit in the giants eye.

Obviously, there are a lot of moving parts here. For one thing, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star Dwayne The Rock Johnson is extremely busy and in high-demand. He has a wealth of upcoming features that have yet to begin filming, including San Andreas 2 and Black Adam. And then theres that Fast and the Furious spin-off co-starring Jason Statham, and due out July 26, 2019, not to mention the next Fast and the Furious film, slated to open in 2020. In other words, is the Rock even going to have time to fit Jumanji into his very busy schedule? And then, of course, theres his rumored (and likely not-happening) presidential run to consider

I suppose Sony can forge ahead with the next Jumanji film without Johnson, and introduce an entirely new set of characters. After all, thats essentially what the new Jumanji film did, and it still ended up being a smash-hit.

Let me clarify. The combat system of the game is great. From purely a gameplay perspective, Nioh delivers. Almost everything else falls kind of flat as of where I am in the game currently (Umi-Bozu which might still be considered early).

The story in this game isn't very interesting so far. From what I gather, William has to go get his spiritfu back while slaying yokai in Japan. Perhaps it will pick up eventually. Characters aren't very interesting, either.

I really don't like the loot system this game has going for it. Most of the gear I pick up is completely useless. I also don't like the environments. I know a lot of people do this and I'm going to do it, too. I honestly think the environments in Dark Souls and Bloodborne are far superior so far. That may be due to Nioh being mission based, though.

I'm not going to say anything about enemy variety. I hope more enemies are introduced later in the game. It's already boring fighting the same 6 enemy types over and over again but I may still be in early game.

My biggest issue with Nioh is the boss battles. Yeah, "git gud TC". Whatever. Listen, Hino-Enma, the bat yokai lady, was the only boss fight I truly enjoyed. A lot of these boss fights lack the presentation, music, and atmosphere of the Soulsbourne games. Furthermore, these fights are bullshit.

The optional fight with Tachibana Muneshige? Fun, but completely unfair. There were times where the boss ignored the rules of the game like the stamina system for instance. The fight with The Great Centipede was one of the worst designed boss fights I've seen in a long time. The idea was cool but it was executed poorly.

Not even going to comment on Umi-Bozu. Cheap bastard. I know how to beat him easily now but he's still full of shit.

Just about EVERY video game that comes out nowadays is a "beta test". Might as well wait a full year for the full edition to come out. Oh wait, can't do that with Final Fantasy XV since it's getting a SECOND season pass that won't even come with the newest edition of the game.

Remember when we could just buy a game and unlock things as we play? Too bad, chum. Get ready to shell out another $50 or more if you want to experience everything in the game :)
Are expansion passes and DLC a bad idea? No, but they can definitely be overpriced or used to sell what should be unlockable through the game like different costumes or something.

Did you just buy a new game and you want to play it as soon as you get home? That's too bad. Have fun waiting potentially hours on end for the updates to finish. Looking at you, Doom. 58 GB. What the hell?

Remember when video games were a nice form of escapism? Welp, enjoy developers obviously shoving some type of political agenda in the games they make now. I'm looking at you, Bioware.

I love video games but this industry makes me want to just quit the hobby sometimes. This shit has been going on for YEARS and it's not getting any better despite the criticism.

What made me go on this tangent, you're probably not wondering? I was one of the fools who bought FF XV at midnight release and look at where we are now. Square Enix played me like a damn fiddle.

Now that I got that out of my system, time to do some homework and go to sleep.

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/castlevania-season-2-is-happening-on-netflix-and-h/1100-6456231/

When Netflix released the first season of its Castlevania anime, which is an adaptation of the video game series, fans flocked to it. The series, which landed on GameSpot's best adaptations of 2017 list, along with the best Netflix exclusive of 2017, released four episodes in July and left viewers wanting more.

Somewhere along the way, the news that the show had already been renewed was lost somewhere in the shuffle. Netflix renewed the series the day it was released and even ordered more episodes--Season 2 will have eight installments.
Since then, though, there's been little word about the status of Castlevania's future. Until now, that is. Warren Ellis, the screenwriter behind the series, cleared up any confusion about the show on Twitter, after being asked by multiple people if the series has been canceled.

"We're coming back this summer," he says, "for eight episodes." There's no word from the streaming service as to when in the summer the series will return. Given the July release of Season 1, though, it's a safe bet the new episodes will bow around that same window of time.

Until that happens, sit down and enjoy Castlevania once again--or for the first time, if you missed it upon release. After all, it's not every day the world gets a legitimately great adaptation of a video game. Hopefully, Season 2 continues that trend.

Let's hope music from the actual games can be used now for a 10/10 experience.

I just beat the boss called Tachibana Muneshige in the caverns or whatever. The combat of this game is really good and very satisfying. I like having all the different stances and managing ki pulse. I started out trying to main the axe but my favorite weapons are now the sword, the dual swords, and the kusarigama.

I'm not really invested into the story as of right now but hopefully it will pick up since it seems like the devs tried. The music is whatever. It doesn't really stand out too much as of right now. I REALLY hope that there is more enemy variety later on in the game. Heard a lot of people complaining about that so that might not be the case.

Not gonna lie. Some of my deaths in this game feel like straight up bullshit, though.
