| The_Scarecrow 12/31/18 2:58:31 PM #84 | This is a great game. Just about every aspect hit the right beats. The story is surprisingly well written. I cant really think of any plot holes. Well, Spider-Man should have probably been unmasked when he was taken to the hospital but whatev. The twists didnt catch me off guard personally. The game kind of hints at whats going to happen. Anyone could probably guess whats going to happen next. Still, any story that can get a positive reaction out of me is a good one. The characters were great especially Peter. The writers got him down to a tee straight from the comics. Really hope hes not killed off for Miles in the sequels but that would be a shame. Miles was fine considering how much I dont care for him in the comics. I dont think there were any characters that were done poorly. Gameplay was good. The swinging was fun in this game and the combat was fluid with options especially near the end of the game. With that being said, I still think the swinging could be improved slightly. I didnt have any issues until some of those Taskmaster drone challenges. Also, there needs to be more interesting side quests in the future with more villains or heroes. Daredevil, The Avengers, Doctor Strange, and a bunch of other heroes exist so use them. Have maybe a small team up with Daredevil to take down Stilt-Man. Do something. Also, get rid of the stealth sections involving MJ and Miles. Setting was fine. Its New York. The devs cant really do much to make it interesting besides add Marvel landmarks. They should try and make other Burroughs explorable in the sequels. Im iffy on the designs. I dont like Spiders new suit or half the suits in the game. I used Noir, Raimi, and Vintage the most. MJ was not good. In motion, her face was kind of cute but thats about it. Average body for who is considered to be beautiful. Most of the villain designs worked. Wasnt feeling Electro or Rhino that much. I dont think the music stood out enough to be nominated for best music. It may be nostalgia talking but 90s cartoon and Raimis trilogy had better tunes for Spidey. Im not sure how this game holds up on replay ability. After getting the platinum, I dont think Ill revisit this game anytime soon. Maybe when the sequel is about to release, Ill replay this one. I would say this game is a very high 8/10 in my opinion. Id give it a 9 if Mysterio and The Spot were in this game tbh --- |

Getting into the habit of exercise in the morning is a great way to start the day off. After a few months, youll find that you have way more energy to spare. --- |

He went back to being a villain once Aquaman returned. Its honestly refreshing. Not every villain needs complex motives. --- |

Im kind of half and half on the villain designs so far. Taskmaster was good. Shocker was fine. Tombstone cant really be messed up. Same goes for Kingpin. Not feeling Electro. I know people think his OG costume is silly but I like it. Vulture is fine and so is Scorpion. I think Rhino could be a little better. Mr. Negative is pretty simple to get wrong. Banjo2553 posted... I wish the random crime mission were more varied instead beat up all these thugs or stop this car. I actually really enjoy some of the stealth segments and wish there were predator like rooms inspired off of Arkham. I had a real good time taking out thugs at the docks one by one dressed as Noir Spider-Man. Sitting at 43% Campaign Completion and 37% Trophy Completion. Still enjoying the game a lot. I like all the references, too. So far Ive caught several of Spideys other villains such as Mysterio, Sandman, Chameleon, and The Lizard. Saw Avengers tower, Sanctum Santorum, Rand Corporation, Josies Bar, Alias Investigations, and the Wakandan Embassy. Is Baxter Building in this game as well? --- |

They kept talking throughout the entire movie and flashing the lights on their cell phones which was distracting. It could be a quiet time during the movie and that fat son of a bitch would start belching several times in a row obnoxiously loud. Cant move seats because its a crowded theater. Cant go tell management because no one cares. You dont even have to pay for tickets. You can just walk in and no one will say shit to you. The only other decent theater is 20 minutes away if traffic is light. Fuck man Why do these people exist? --- |

It already feels like I have a good amount of combat options. Webslinging feels great. Graphics are good. Did Insomniac get any OG voice actors like from the 90s cartoon or even the Spectacular series? Nobody sounds familiar so far. Cant help but to hear Yosuke from P4 whenever Peter talks. Im hoping some nice surprises rogues gallery wise show up in this game. --- |
