I suppose the mods just didn't want another user egging me on even though the topic was largely positive and supportive. Apologies if I worried anyone. I would not say that I am fine but I am alive so that's something. Had a crazy week. A girl I am interested in asked me to give her a ride to her friend's house a few nights ago. She's way out of my league since she's an actual model. I agreed and picked her up from her house. On the way there, I took a leap of faith and asked if she wanted to make out with me in the backseat of my car in an empty parking lot. She had been flirting with me in the messages all day so I figured that I would try. She agreed. It escalated into sex. I did not have a condom so I ended up going in raw which was probably a mistake. babynames.com. The plan is for us to have sex again later this week. I think she likes me because the very next day, I spent some time with her at her place and she was rubbing her hands all over me and kissing me. She also wants to meet my family. I might try for the relationship. We'll see. If it happens, I'll definitely post pics of us together. Other than that, school is school. I've taken steps to dealing with mental health and trauma from my past. It's a work in progress but I hope to grow as a person and become better. | The_Scarecrow 11/04/20 9:02:55 PM #47 | For those of you who asked, this is whats been going on: I havent really spoken to anyone about this partially because Im still not comfortable talking about it but when I was a child, I was touched sexually by an older individual. Ive done my best to block the memory out but its been getting worse throughout the years. I dont really talk to many people anymore. I had somewhat of a fallout with my old group of friends. Basically, a kid introduced in our group liked to post suicide videos and animal torture in our group chat. I would tell him to knock it off and we would get into it. He knew that I had suicidal tendencies so he would use that to egg me on and he expressed how much joy he would get out me killing my self. The others would just laugh along with him. I thought these guys were my friends for years but I suppose not. I havent been taking care of myself, either. Not eating much and barely sleeping. I cant sleep from all of these nightmares I have. Ive lost interest in all of my hobbies and Im not motivated to do well in college anymore. My family has a lot of expectations of me and whenever I let them down, its not good. If I drop out of school, Ill have to leave the house again and Id rather not do that especially considering the state of the world right now. Ive taken medicine, tried to eat healthy, exercise, and whatever else but none of it helps. Its gotten to the point where I can barely function these days. My past, especially the stay at the psych ward last year, haunts me and Im not really sure what to do about it. I would try and confide in my family but it doesnt work out. My mother would tell me to get over myself. My father wouldnt say anything. My sister would still think Im a loser. My brother would just tell me to move on and these feelings will go away. They just dont understand mental health. These last few days have been awful. Every day is a bad day for me but its been horrible lately. My mental health is deteriorating at a fast rate. Im a little afraid of what I might do to myself. We do have guns at the house. I have several knives in my room. Its very concerning. If I lose myself again, anything could happen really. Sorry if this is disjointed or if some things dont make sense. Its difficult to type right now. So many thoughts going through my mind and all. --- Batman's greatest villain. |

It wouldve been better for Bruce to try to change the system as himself rather than put on a costume and fight baddies. In many continuities, none of those freaks like Joker or Poison Ivy or Bane showed up until Batman started to make a dent in mob crime. A new type of criminal was born to match this new type of justice. Batman is just as deranged as the villains he fights. I like how Jason Todd put it. Batman blindly ignores the entire graveyards Joker has filled just so he doesnt break his moral code. Would be interesting if someone in real life had moderate success fighting crime in a costume. Closest thing we had was Phoenix Jones, the Guardian of Seattle, and we all know how that turned out. --- Batman's greatest villain. |

If I call the police fearing for my son's life because he's mentally unstable and is experiencing an episode, I expect the police to respond appropriately and not kill him. That's not why I, or anyone else, called them. We call for the person to be helped. We don't call for them to be killed. The idea behind the core values of the police force is to "Protect and Serve". Even the mentally unstable deserve to be helped. Their life is just as valuable. This man in the UK wielding the machete kept his life and hopefully got help. Walter Wallace Jr. didn't receive that even though he deserved it just as much as any other human being experiencing some sort of mental episode. If non-American police forces can figure this shit out, then the American police can, too. There are no excuses for what happened to Walter. The United States needs to do better. Nobody can say this is "fair" or "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" or anything of that foolishness. If you genuinely believe that, please open a window on your computer and educate yourself regarding mental health. A man who needed help just lost his life. The conversation shouldn't be about "the officers were justified" because that gives them a pass which leads to this same situation happening over and over again. The conversation should be about what our officers need to do in order obtain a better outcome whether it be better de escalation training or learning how to properly address a situation involving mentally ill people or coming up with alternate methods to neutralize an aggressor without killing them.
