It's probably the only open world game I've played where I don't want to use the fast travel system. Every location of the map feels intentional and houses something interesting and unique. Compared to a Ubisoft game like Ass Creed where I'm just staring at the mini map constantly and sprinting to get to the next objective as fast as possible. --- "A human destiny, but nothing human inside..... I have much more success with the bow when being able to use tiny adjustments. It doesn't replace the analog stick to aim... it's just to fine tune shots by moving your hands a few millimeters. Too bad "hardcore gamers" are stubborn and too stuck in the past to accept that motion controls can vastly improve the experience of a game. --- "A human destiny, but nothing human inside..... The game is completely open and you do whatever you want in whatever order (once you leave the plateau.) You see a cool landmark in the distance then you can go to it. The world feels organic and not some trash Ubisoft open world which feels precerdurally generated at times. It's the kind of game you have to quit your second job to dedicate thoroughly exploring and beating it. So far I've just been to Kakariko Village and the Hateno regions. Exploring the mountains and finding shrines and korok seeds. Mary Shaw is probably one of the scariest things I've seen in a movie. Anyone else remember this movie? It got absolutely panned by critics, the creators were ashamed of it and most movie goers thought it sucked but I just loved it. Positives.... Danielle Harris' performance as Jamie Lloyd. Probably one of the best child actors I've seen which is incredible coming from an 80s slasher flick, pays nice homage to the OG, good kills, Donald Pleasance, atmosphere (love the intro), Michael properly stalks his victims, likeable characters, the ending. Negatives. I don't actually hate the mask like some people, but the shoulder pads look ridiculous in some scenes, some plot elements feel too convenient to get Haddonfield into the state it is, the mob scenes feel a bit silly, despite having some sick kills there's a lack of creative knife kills from I'm Mikey, the soundtrack could've been more creative... I'm highly introverted and don't like talking to people so this is perfect for me since I can talk about cocktails and agave for hours and keep people entertained. I absolutely could not work at a dive bar/pub,beer bar. That sounds dull and miserable to me. Clubs are usually where the dickheads are but it's fast paced and you're constantly busy and there's normally security to kick fuckwits out. I work in Australia so the wages are quite high but there's rarely any tips. Usually I'll make about $40 a week on tips. | Ser_Jaker 08/13/22 12:13:39 AM #1 | For me it's Resident Evil REmake Silent Hill 2 P.T Slender Chicken Run I played Remake at my uncle's house back in 2003 or something and it was my first exposure to an actual horror game and it scarred me as an 8 year old. Slender was terrifying and I played it way before the whole indie horror game wave and slender man hadn't been overdone to death back then. P.T is the only game I've played as an adult that gave me that "I kind of want to stop playing" vibe. Work of genius. Silent Hill 2 is Silent Hill 2. I don't find it the scariest thing ever but I constantly think about it and every time I play it, it gets under me like no other horror fiction. Chicken Run on ps1 was fucked. If they were to bring the old school RE style back, they'd have non tank controls But the camera angles would be more dynamic and free flowing to accommodate.
