So I watched Saw X just now and I'm shocked that this got amazing reviews. I think it's probably one of the worst ones.

So far I would say...

Saw II > Saw > Saw III > Saw IV > Saw V > Saw X

Weird. It tonally did not feel like a Saw movie. Trying to portray John Kramer as some anti hero you cheer for just rubbed me the wrong way. The villains are cartoonishly evil, the acting was a bit off, the traps aren't interesting as they're just really gory (the eyeball trap was badass but they seriously made it a dream sequence?) and the twist was so predictable.

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most "woke" games I've played lmao.

But unfortunately the game itself is very mid at best. Like 6.5/10 territory. The combat is quite bland, there's no RPG mechanics, the loot system sucks, the story sucks, the characters aren't good...

It's basically a glorified Ubisoft type game.

I really fucking love Harry Potter by the way. I think Hogwarts Legacy is a good first attempt but that's it. The sequel needs to do alot more.

But I think Saw 1 to 2 are legitimately good movies. Saw 3 is also fine.

The rest fall into dumb but fun territory. The ending to Saw 5 is hilarious. It's like something out of a cartoon.

I think the what makes the rack so bad is the guy really didn't deserve it. I get he killed a kid because of drink driving and he probably deserved some form of Jigsaw punishment but he did his time and was clearly remorseful and living with guilt.
The rack should've been reserved for someone like the rapist from Saw IV.

And you can't anything about it. As badass as the traps in Saw III, I feel like this is where the series officially delved into the "torture porn" aspect.

Only watched up to Saw IV.

Does it ever get worse than the Rack? Probably the most diabolical thing I've seen in film.
Imagine being in that situation. I actually cannot comprehend how awful that would be.

Wait until the endgame bosses. It also feels so good getting perfect guards in this game. Getting a perfect guard on the swamp monster as it charges at you in a flurry and hearing the clang is so cool.

Why do people still buy and play CoD if it supposedly sucks? I never understood the hype and it baffles me how a franchise can be so successful despite so many gamers shitting on the latest entries.

I some bizarre fascination lately with wanting to watch all of them. I wrote them off most of my life because "torture porn lol" and plus I wasn't allowed to watch them as a kid.

I've heard only Saw 1 and 2 are the good ones. The other movies suck but are at least worth watching because of cool traps.

The OG was a thousand times better.

He's got the older, rugged and run down look which suits him better in the game. I also appreciate the mature, receeding hairline look.

There's a scene in Dead Silence where an old guy gets locked in the crawlspace in the basement by the ghost and I remember being terrified by the the scene of the Mary Shaw ripping out his tongue

Good horror doesn't need to literally scare you to be effective. The OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an absolute bone chilling horror film but it's not like I'm physically scared for my life when I watch it. It executes atmosphere, dread, hopelessly, macabre imagery so well. It's the kind of movie I watch and start thinking "what if this was me in this situation?"

My favourite way to make an Old Fashioned is 1 barspoon of demerara sugar syrup, 2 - 3 dashes of Angostura bitters, 2oz of whatever Bourbon (I liked Elijah Craig).
Stir it over (preferably) one large, clear cube of ice and garnish it with a lemon and orange twist and maraschino cherry

There are many ways to make an Old fashioned so it really comes to your preference. Some people prefer to muddle a sugar cube with a dash of soda water rather than use syrup. The Wisconsin style is usually an abomination with muddles fruits and cherries at the bottom. Maybe avoid that one.

One of the WWE2k games. Can't remember which one but I used to love Day of Reckoning and watching WWE but the game I bought on PS4 was just janky garbage. Felt unplayable and I didn't care about most of newer wrestlers.

Old school Mortal Kombat has always been a shitty franchise.

Get past the shock value of the fatalities, and it's a stiff, clunky fighter with a roster stuffed with too many generic ninja palette swaps.

Back in the day I always went for Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, and Samurai Showdown.

Not true. It isn't as technical as the other fighting games at the time but the gameplay still holds up pretty well today.
Its also the secrets, the lore, artstyle, music, bosses that made those games memorable and iconic.

Every one talking mad shit about them, torturing them and dropping rocks on them.

I love them. Probably the best race in any Zelda game. Especially the one that has been guarding a bed specifically for you for the last few decades or whatever and doesn't even charge you anything.

Sticking to hostels, not eating out at expensive restaurants, mainly walking around and catching buses, probably go out drinking a few nights a week, coffee every morning....
Only sticking to London for a few days and going somewhere cheaper.

Worst comes to worst I could work as a bartender pouring pints if I run out of cash.
