Sleeping on the west coast

I described it in another topic but I was in bed being a post high school graduate that summer. And my mom woke me up to tell me I needed to witness something on the news

I didn't find out it happened until I got up at 10:30 , on the west coast.

I was in 6th grade at school.

Sitting in either 2nd or 3rd period trying to finish up the previous nights homework. Teacher came in and turned on the tv to show what was going on.

On my way back to school from a dentist appointment.

Sleeping since I'm on the West Coast. Even went to school that day before finding out class is cancelled and we have to wait until our parents to pick us up.

Junior year high school. Towards the end of my second period study hall. Principal comes on the PA says something and then turns on cnn feed on all the classroom tvs.

I was in the 8th grade at the time, so I was at school. People were freaking out that other buildings around the country might be attacked next, so a lot of our parents came to take us home.

At home, we just kind of watched the news in disbelief.

I was in the 3rd grade and had to go to the school office for something and at least the 1st tower was down but the news headline I saw was something about they were looking for potential bombs in the rubble, but I had no idea what had actually happened so I didn't know America was under attack.

When I went back to class, was when they told us what had happened.

In 8th grade science class talking about Monday Night Football and how the punter for the Giants only did good because of that sweet Denver altitude. I didn't find out about the attacks until the end of the day, the school put a gag order down but my social studies teacher figured that since the day was over she could spill the beans.

It was really late here in Australia and I was about 5 years old so I was probably sleeping.

I was in school, 10th grade. Beyond that I don't remember the subject of the class, just that they carted in a television.

In school (5th grade). Lived and went to school right across the river from there. We all heard the boom when it happened wondering what it was. Then a kid who was late to school that day walked in and told us the news. We got sent home early that day.

I was at home that day (I don't remember if there was school?) AND I remember watching TV right as the news came on and they hit.

Then my dad come got me and explained what had happened, showed me all sorts of weird 3d renders on his laptop.
