I don't remember people singing praises for the show while it was airing. There was so much other good stuff that it got lost in the sea a bit. Pretty interesting to see how people still appreciate it today.

Lemme just say that the art design in that clip is awful. It allows more fluid fight scenes than what they could have done in the Nelvana show, but that art is ugggg-leee.

As for the clip, they did a good job except for saying "normal people have it harder." That's a little too forced. Everything else feels like a person would actually say to someone who is marginalized.

It does sound kind of ridiculous, but people do talk like that, especially related to affirmative action and welfare.

I wish I could, but almost all deodorants give me a rash after a day or two and turns the skin black. I do bring it with me on trips just in case.

I use milk of magnesia under my arms every day. The only annoying part is that it's a liquid, and potentially needing to apply it twice a day instead of once.

It doesn't help with sweating, so I'm still in search of deodorant that works well and doesn't cause the rash.

None that I know of really. I think your average police officer is OK, but even 5% corruption is too much. It starts at the top. I think your average businessman is OK, too. It's just that those who use underhanded methods are rewarded and pressure those who follow the rules.

In fire emblem (at least the earlier ones), you simply select attack and see things play out as well. This game expands that simple "attack" into a series of conditional commands. Honestly, if we always had to fully control each unit, it would take way too long.

It should be a big reset since it's the first entry of its arc, so you should be able to start with Daybreak.

The issue is people thinking he's good for the stock market. I'll await the next disaster he makes 3-4 years into his presidency like most republican presidents in the last half century.

The steps for me are

1. Get a decent job
2. Get a house
3. Plan for kids, maybe have 1
4. Pay house mostly off
5. Have kids as needed

I'm only at step 1. Kids aren't much on my radar.

Politician = bad, even though they are likely motivated by criminal justice or have a much more extensive background in law and policy.

The issue is people getting bought out no matter their original ideology. I think being a business person makes you even more predisposed to getting bought out.

I only go there once in a while. It's generally ok. From what I noticed, the general userbase shifts depending on the type of megathread you enter, so it's easier to become familiar with certain groups there.
