There's a different issue here in that Israel doesn't have freedom of speech. Expressing support for Palestinians could get you in a lot of trouble. This guy has nothing to fear because worst case scenario he gets deported. For the people on the street this is their only home. IDF has mandatory conscription so it's not even a given that the two soldiers even wanted to be there in the first place. It's going to be impossible to gauge how Israelis really feel about apartheid by doing random blindsided Street interviews.

The other side of the coin is that you're right it's not casual racism. It's pretty fucking extreme racism. It's like hardcore enthusiastic full throttle racism.

It's even worse than that. It's people legitimately right there looking at it and ignoring it.

And then the argument is "Well they don't care because they're not allowed to not be racist or they will be ruined."... In which case doesn't that make the exposure EVEN MORE IMPORTANT? And even more relevant? Especially considering massive media outlets perpetually denying it.

They never said they don't care though. The one guy who seemed to understand some English said he doesn't know what's going on, the two at the end didn't seem to know what he was even asking and he pretty much spoke for them.
