yea i guess so, aluminum might be bad. Kinda like msg , maybe most believe it's bad but no great evidence.

what if you shower once , twice a day? many of you do encounter many people with BO problems?

Yeah, I always make sure to get the antiperspirant kind.

If you shower daily, eat healthy, and don't sweat by just standing around then no you don't need deodorant.

But yes, I wear deodorant every day. Found a brand I liked in high school and have stick with it for nearly 20 years now.

I'm...not exactly sure what you mean by that. But if you're going to be interacting with others and ESPECIALLY doing physically demanding work that naturally results in perspiration, then you should bathe, brush your teeth, and wear deodorant to keep from smelling unpleasant. And in general, it's good to be hygienic whether you're in the presence of others or not.

iirc the u.s. has one of the highest rates of usage for this of any country. like europe they use it a lot less...etc..

That is how dry skin is formed.

Yes, I workout regularly and sweat easily, so I usually shower either everyday or every other day depending on if I worked out that day or not.

I use right guard extreme deodorant/antiperspirant. It kept me from being stinky after gym class. And no, I hate spray on deodorant and gel. It's gotta be the invisible solid deodorant.

Switched brands recently. Halfway through the work day and I feel a bit ripe. Going back to Old Spice.

I get a little stinky if I don't. Not enough for people outside of hugging distance to smell, but I can smell myself which isn't what I'm into

I wish I could, but almost all deodorants give me a rash after a day or two and turns the skin black. I do bring it with me on trips just in case.

I use milk of magnesia under my arms every day. The only annoying part is that it's a liquid, and potentially needing to apply it twice a day instead of once.

It doesn't help with sweating, so I'm still in search of deodorant that works well and doesn't cause the rash.

Only when I go out in public. Otherwise I don't use it. I shower enough to not need it

Depends on country I guess but in I think everyone uses it.

Spray-on anything is obviously bad. You are breathing it in, and would probably have to wear a respirator in an OSHA-compliant setting. But solid/gel is great.

When I was like 32 I stopped smelling bad and so I don't wear it anymore. I still have it, I'll use it if I have to skip a shower but that's about it

Now that I think about it, it was when I stopped eating meat.

Of course, I sweat easily.

Only in the summer, when I actually sweat a lot. Right now, with weather in the 60s & an indoor job, not really necessary.

no. I use a balm similar to what zwijn posted, but I only apply it two or three times a week.
never really had to worry about BO, if anything whatever smells I give off are the only thing I get complimented about besides my hair, which anyone can have good hair if they stop using shampoo and brush it for 15-20 min a day.

A few of them fucked up my arm pits and gave me bad rashes now I only use the Crystal spray deodorant

I use deodorant, but I'm very allergic to antiperspirant
