I personally find this episode to be a bit weak, but Alfred Molina as the Multi-bear is great, and I love that training montage song, "Keep on shaving that hairy uncle!"

Everything? Even like Endgame? I'd figure that would be completely incomprehensible by itself.

That said I don't mind the interconnected nature of these things. Wasn't that supposed to be the big draw of these Disney+ shows compared to the previous Marvel tv series? The older shows were so disconnected they didn't matter at all even when they tried. Agents of SHIELD was hilarious before they gave up trying to be canon. One episode literally had them cleaning up Thor's leftover garbage. That was the big draw. Whoopee. At least things actually matter and have ramifications now.

The Inconveniencing is such a fantastic episode. The increased character development for Wendy is great, and it was a genuinely kind of creepy episode balanced out with great jokes. One line that constantly lives rent-free in my head is Thompson yelling, "NO, YOU'RE A DANCE MACHINE" at the DDR game.

Minor note, but I like the little connection of Dipper's lamb costume and him nearly getting sliced up by wool shears in the Li'l Gideon episode. A lot of tiny details are going to start to pay off in the upcoming episodes.

Why did Monica think it was possible for her to go through when the rover couldn't? Why didn't she take her helmet? It all came across as "Well, we just kind of HAVE to give her superpowers right now, just have her do something that would in any situation would be really dumb".

Blaming his daughters for the idea was bad enough when it was possible they suggested it, it still would have been in incredibly poor taste. But now it seems like they had nothing to do with it at all. That's hilariously so much worse. What a piece of shit; he just randomly pinned it on his children for no good reason.

I remember there being a study that tried to make it seem like air travel was perfectly safe because the recirculated air didn't transmit the virus or something, but it completely ignored every other factor that could spread infection, including the idea that being in a confined space seated nearby other people is generally not a good idea during a pandemic. Like, during the study they had mannequins simply sitting in their seats, facing forward and not moving about at all for the entire duration and were like, "Yup, that's human people do when they travel by air. They sit motionlessly for several hours straight. Plane travel is perfectly safe."

I like how he's like, "Yes, I flew to Cancun with my family, but I was always going to return immediately, I swear!" Yeah, right.

I know a lot of people will want to make a big deal over it being unconscionable to be pleased about and to mock Rush's death, but for me I clearly remember that Rush Limbaugh was not just some guy who had opinions that I didn't like, he was a man that was completely cruel to so many, who would constantly persecute and ridicule the most vulnerable people in our society, and who spread messages that have caused so much damage to so many in the country. It is perfectly reasonable to continue to vilify such a horrible person even after death.

There's a bit of schadenfreude to this, which I'm not a fan of since people are suffering, but it really points out the hypocrisy of these politicians. And it doesn't help that they really wanted to blame these problems on renewable energy as a political gambit when that's not a big factor at all.

Like, I could understand making this if it was a minor project they could rerelease and make more money off of, but this sounds like remaking the entire movie twice, when there was no indication it would actually be good. Actually there's every indication this will be horrible.

But yeah I'm thinking of buying like a non SSD and just using a good old fashioned 8TB or so WD Black because as nice as games loading fast is, only being able to have like 10 games installed because the install sizes are like 120GB sucks.

That's also on my mind. I wonder that the true difference in speed is if they're both going to using a USB connection. I would say if it's not that much of a difference I should just get more storage in general.

I'm running out of space on my PC for games, and I kind of don't want to uninstall and reinstall and shuffle games around since I like having a bunch of stuff on hand to play on a whim. I was thinking of just putting all the major non-game data I have on a portable drive to free up space, but I wondered if it would be possible to just use a portable drive only for games to make things simpler. Does stuff like Steam play nice with portable drives? I've heard that because of transfers it might affect load times, but apparently if it uses a USB-C connection it'll be better?

I was also thinking of buying a portable SSD like this (https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-T5-Portable-SSD-MU-PA1T0B/dp/B073H552FJ?th=1). I'd like to have as many demanding games on my SSD as possible, but the one in my PC doesn't have enough room for a lot of big games. If I could hook up something like and still have the benefits of fast load times without issues that would be fantastic. Can anyone who has tried this give advice?

I actually can't stand Logitech mice. I went through like three in two months.

This is the one I'm using now. I'm not saying it's one of the best mice ever or anything, I'm not that experience with all the different types out there, but it's reasonably priced, it's held up for years now (even after I started playing mouse heavy PC games more), it has all the buttons I need, and you can modify the DPI and switch between different DPI settings with a click of a button. I'm not a particularly picky mouse person, so this worked out excellent for me:

This might not mean much, but if you turn on Audio Captioning it states specifically that it's "the version of Pietro from the X-Men films". I don't want to say for sure whether that's meant to be literal, or simply the way the captioning decided to describe the scene. But if it's the former then that raises a LOT of awesome questions.

Hey I've watched the first... three, four? Episodes of this show like five times trying to get into it but it just didn't grab me. Is that a good representation of this show? If I didn't like it by then will I not like it? Like maybe what episode should I watch to really get into it?

If you didn't find those episodes funny or the characters likeable, then it's probably never going to grab you. I think the series starts off pretty strong, and while it does get even better later on, I don't consider it one of those shows that needs time to grow on you.

If you're still willing to give it a chance I'd say watch up to episode 9. Eps 9 and 5 I feel is the show really at its best and it was 9 specifically that hooked me. A lot of the cool long-running plotlines and serialization doesn't happen until season 2 so I don't think you'd be up to waiting that long, although I will say that's the point where the show goes from "really good" to "incredible".

Other things:
That Norm scene was so amazingly disturbing. The whole "they're in pain" thing turns things up a notch. Wanda angrily confronting SWORD was great too. I'm loving her being villainous.

I also loved the schmaltzy 80s sitcom music whenever dramatic moments happen.

Wanda and Vision facing off each other was so tense

Can't say I approve saying "Can I borrow your gun?" to an FBI agent and then grabbing it and firing a bunch of shots before they can even respond. Seems like a poor decision.
