It didn't take long. It was just the natural extension of how I was playing through single-player normally. The patterns don't really change much between 7.0 to 9.0, just the damage, so I fused a strong and reliable weapon (Artillery Claws rock) with good defensive mods and just tried my best. I beat most of the stages in one try, and if I died, it was often because of something specific, so I'd simply change my power set and strategy to counter it. Basically, having a strong weapon and already having knowledge and experience of the levels helped a lot.

Finally beat every level in Kid Icarus on 9.0. I wasn't even sure if I was going to try at first, but once I fused a good single-player weapon it wasn't that hard.

Chapter 18 is still confirmed for most annoying chapter in the game. Oddly enough, it wasn't the hardest level for me. That would be 20, which took me three tries, and all because of that weird flying segment. I hate how the bullets only hit the center of the screen in that one. Once I got past that it was much easier.

That one was hard until I realized the map is sort of a remake of Goldeneye's Complex map. I knew that map by heart, so I cleared it immediately after that.

Well, you can abuse Banjo's backpack swing attack in this game. If you perform it in midair you can perform an extra jump in the air to travel farther and higher than you should. It can be helpful at times.

The other one is an oversight involving an ability you might not have yet, but will get real soon. It's pretty broken, and allows you to collect a lot of stuff in ways you shouldn't. I actually wouldn't recommend using it, since it takes a lot of the challenge from the game, but if you want to know... Clockwork Eggs can pick up anything.

The bathhouse Cheato Page is meant to be collected later, although you can still reach it using an oversight in the game design. Two of them, actually.

There's one other Jiggy that can't be gotten at the moment (since you said you already helped Tiptup).

As for the coins and Jump Pads you can't find look for patches of ground in the town that look slightly different.

I played the DS one too. It seemed very similar to the Playstation ones, so it wouldn't be a bad place to start.

Actually you can get all of those before leaving the world. Except for some boulders. There's only one Jiggy that you can't legitimately get yet.

Monster Rancher games tend to be less about going on adventures and are more simulation based. You raise monsters on a farm and manage their training over the years while entering tournaments and other stuff. I think there are some games that diverge from this, but that's what I remember them for. I played the second game for the Playstation and thought it was pretty great.

What really makes these kinds of games great are awesome breeding systems. I absolutely LOVE how you combine monsters in Jade Cocoon and the resulting monster will retain not only combat attributes of both parents, but would also would visually be a cross. Like if you combined a cat monster with a bird you might get a cat with wings or some crap. DWM / Joker's breeding systems are a ton of fun too. That's one thing I've felt Pokemon is missing somehow, it's breeding system doesn't speak to me at all.

Have you played Monster Rancher? The breeding system is pretty similar to that.

Mumbo's really kind of disappointing. I remember when the game was coming out and how playing as Mumbo was this big deal. But all he really does is glorified switch activation.

I hate how inconsistent some of the "puzzles" are. It's amazingly how much stuff can only be affected by one specific move and not anything else even if it would make just as much sense.

But what's weird is that there are passwords in BK that allow you collect the key and eggs, so they did have some sort of contingency plan. Unfortunately they didn't bother to hide a memory card menu or something that could have solved everything.

Those are the cheats that open up worlds and doors without needing Jiggies or Notes. Enter too many and your save is deleted.

Banjo-Kazooie's cheat system is weird. There are the codes Cheato gives you, which are really just upgrades. Then there are "just for fun" cheats you can earn somewhere else that are also pretty legit. Then there are actual cheat codes that aren't revealed anywhere in the game that really let you cheat things and access stuff you shouldn't.

There is that infamous Mumbo Token in Gobi's Valley inside the one pyramid in the corner of the ceiling. If you drain the water before getting it, you can't reach it anymore.

It's not required to collect every Mumbo Token though, it just bugs completionists.

It's strange how hard it was to teach Rapidash a good fire type move. It's gotten a bit better now, but in the early gens... yeesh.

One of my first EV trained Pokemon was a Gardevoir. I brought him over to each new game to take on various Battle Towers, although he's now completely outclassed.

Breloom is the only natural Spore user I like. Mainly because it doesn't look amazing ugly. It's getting way overpowered though.
