Not to nitpick, but did the shooter in parkland even use a bump stock? I thought that was related more to the vegas shooting?

Definitely correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounded to me like Cruz used an unmodified semi automatic weapon.

I'm still definitely in favor of additional gun control, and bump stocks have no business being legal, but it does seem like this is a response to the wrong event.

We rank too fast for them to rebel. We just demand LD and then go to war with each other asap. Once the caps are where we want them we ally. Kettch you could take Tom and he could replace you as lD at baron.

They might rebel but they might also enjoy a billion sfs ever 2 or 3 ticks.

Assuming they have maxed parry then there is always a puncher's chance that they dodge 6+ attacks in a row.

It would take something like 4 or 5 dodges to equal the unavoidable ranged+cav damage, but it's possible.

SAO had an incredible premise, though it's hardly unique, it's still a great starting point for a show.

And with a very good art style it seemed like they were poised to do it right. Everything through the first 2 episodes seems pretty good to me.

And then suddenly the pacing goes straight to hell. They start skipping months at a time, glazing past what should be major events in their progression of the game, and not having any internal consistency as far as how many people are still alive, how much progress they are making, how quickly they are making it, and just what the hell everyone is doing with their time.

And then everything gets entangled with creepy soap opera garbage. And i'm still talking about the first half of the first season, that's before everything gets all rape-y and incest-y in the 2nd half. The guy perving out over and obsessing over asuna? And don't get me started on Yui, who is generally an awful addition. Kirito is 14 at the beginning, and now he has some annoying waif calling him "papa" after knowing him for 10 minutes? I cringe every time.

It has a couple of incredible moments, and some great visuals, but it is *NOT* enough to make up for a squandered everything else.

I might be lucky?

I got an email letting me know that part of my order could not be fulfilled and it was cancelled.

They cancelled the baby shoes.

I pulled up the order on TRU.com and it lists the shoe as cancelled (possibly because they sold out?) and the switch as "awaiting fulfillment".

I'm not going to celebrate just yet, but...maybe this goes through?

The shoe got cancelled 3 hours ago based on the email timestamp. Maybe they just haven't gotten around to the switch yet.

I got home and tried to place another order for store pick up tomorrow morning but it's too late, none of the shoes work now.

We were the victims of having a lot of data hacked. It makes sense not to say exactly how bad it was so im not seeing the crime.

It looks like stuff we already knew. HRC was using personal email that was not as secure as government email. And she conducted both official and unofficial business using her personal account.

That includes correspondences with the president.

All of this was previously known, so please explain to me what justifies your comment of "the fire rises".

It sounds like the only thing that happened is that they changed "she sent emails to the president while in other countries" to "she sent emails to senior government officers while in other countries".

Which changes what exactly? Because I'm not seeing the damning thing there.

Seriously. Nothing he said has any relevance to what I said.

Im not saying he didn't win the presidency because of "muh popular vote". He clearly did win and he IS the president whether i like it or not.

But his lack of popularity, both during the election and since contributes in part to why he is accomplishing so little in terms of policy.

He is pushing a wall most people don't want.
Hes basing it on a lie that Mexico will pay for it, which no one believes anymore.

He is pushing for a prejudicial travel ban that most people don't want.
He is basing it on a lie that our procedures were previously lax when they have actually been quite stringent for some time.

Rather than focusing on new technologies and new jobs in renewable energy he campaigned on bringing back coal jobs. The jobs have not come back in any meaningful way and the facts all support the idea that thr coal industry has fundamentally changed and would not even support as many employees as it did in its heyday.

Trump's policies are thev reason that Trump's policies have not been working.

This is all domestic stuff and doesnt even begin to address the fact that he is a diplomatic embarrassment on the global stage.

When we elect a president they do not get to play dictator for 4 years where everything they say goes.

This is especially true when the person elected actually lost the popular vote by actually millions of votes.

Trump being unable to get his way all the time is not indicative of a Deep State but is indicative of his inexperience in government. Just as its indicative of his policies meeting widespread public disapproval. When he's trying to force feed the country wildly unpopular plans he is going to meet resistance from the other elected officials who are being loudly told by their constituents that they dont want trumps policies.
