| Doe 07/08/19 8:35:59 PM #5 | i know exactly what you mean. today i had to follow up on a job interview, so i was going to call the hiring supervisor. everyone told me "ask if he's chosen the hire yet". but i'm thinking...wtf, why would i ask? let me put it this way: if he's already chosen the hire, he'd be obligated to tell me. even if he hasn't put the offer out yet (given timeframe, it's unlikely he has tendered the offer already). when you force a binary decision, there's a 50% chance it's not going to work out in your favor now, if i just call to say i'm following up and we have a good conversation...even if he's mentally decided on someone else, he can actually change his mind. but it seems most guys just can't operate in that realm of uncertainty....even though statistically it's the right move. if he's already made up his mind 100%, playing things the way i did didn't make a difference than whether or not i forced a binary answer. but if he isn't sure or is willing to change his mind, my method increases my chances. now, it may not increase it 50% or anything, but every little bit helps and adds up over time if you apply this method to all aspects of life. and get the fuck out of here, you people that are like "if you were the best candidate, you'd get hired regardless". it's possible to be the best candidate...but have someone else who is also extremely qualified, someone who overachieved and had the best interview of his life, or maybe i interviewed at 5% less than my capabilities and that can come back to bite me. and yes, this of course also applies to girls. don't ask girls if they have a boyfriend. if they do, they'll tell you. if they don't, but maybe they have a fuck buddy they'll say they have a boyfriend just because they aren't sure what to call it. life is uncertain...might as well embrace it --- |

I didnt finish Majora's Mask 3D, it had a ton of issues and imo just bad design. I quit out near the end of Zora area. Maybe it's the remake fault or maybe Majora's Mask is overrated. The original Super Mario 64 is no Mona Lisa, you have to take off the nostalgia goggles there. --- |
