Less important for comedy/slice of life. Some animation fixes depending how derpy the broadcast could get. Depending on where an action-heavy show broadcasts, they dim flashy scenes to meet an anti-seizure standard. The dim is removed on the BDs. An example this season is Symphogear. ... Oh I wonder if that's happened for Jojo, theres a part in the current OP where he punches really fast and the screen gets notably darker and its happened for some scenes in the show too.
