It wasn't that bad honestly, I already know it will be better than the other we'll workshop on the same day because that one's some guy's overly elaborate fantasy about magical furries with historical Japan setting and mythology. Dude he fucking used the word CUNICULAR. "Of or pertaining to the characteristics of a rabbit." This dude's high on thesaurus fumes. The first line is "I felt my tabi covered feet hit the road", apparently a tabi is a traditional Japanese sock, like we get it dude you're a weeb. I have nothing against weebery in your personal life, I'm a massive weeb myself, but when I need to look up a word in each of your sentences and you're a pasty white dude it's too much. He also invokes "odachi." That word LITERALLY MEANS SWORD DUDE. The rabbit has a fucking sword. Give it an adjective if you want but don't make a class full of normies Google Image search every line of your story. --- |
