Mostly. I thought Id be an engineer but I ended up hating it. But I still have achieved most things I wanted for myself. Married to a good man, have a good job and income, moved to Southern California (that was always my dream as a kid), own a home. Only thing I didnt anticipate was not being able to have children naturally. But Ive been blessed otherwise.

So beautiful. Ive always wanted to go. But Sequoia National Park is on the way so we always end up going there. Its beautiful there too but I always wanted to at least experience Yosemite once.

I have free dashpass for two years because of the deal they have with chase. Not all restaurants increase their prices either. I avoid the ones where its obvious they have super jacked up pricing.

I managed to grab a copy online and it should arrive today. Im excited for it.

Lol I dont like them, but I understand their value. They also used to make me very uncomfortable but Ive been through a lot of interviews so its helped me in dealing with them.

What I would do before interviews is look up some typical questions and prepare my answers. Id come up with 3-4 examples of situations I could use. Id also look up Glassdoor and see what sorts of questions people say they were asked. And just write everything down and just read my notes before the interview. Theres always a curveball question or two that would make me sweat and have to think on my feet. I hate those. I just know why they ask them.

My last company put me through about 5 hours of behavioral interviews. I did really well in the beginning and then the last couple of hours I was tanking hard. I felt like I couldnt put two thoughts together. Im surprised they made me an offer.

I havent seen hereditary but I just watched Midsommar last week. I had heard from a lot of posters here that it was good but honestly I thought it was meh and seems to drag on a lot. Worth watching to form your own opinion.

I cant judge because I never wanted a single dad when I was dating. Even now at 35 and no children, if I found myself single somehow, Id still avoid them as much as I could. Its not for me. So I can understand the sentiment. But as Cyric mentioned, I dont see this being a real issue and generally these topics are just made by angry people who want to bash single moms.

I just try and get to know them as a person and see if we have common interests.

Example, one of my clients was really difficult to work with. Seemed to think that what we did wasnt enough and it always felt like he had crazy expectations. Even my coordinator didnt like working with him. He was frequently rude to her. Then I just would ask him about his weekend or hobbies and found he was a nerd and liked games so we bonded on that. And then every time I had a meeting I would just ask him questions about himself and stuff. He started acting soooo nice after even my coordinator noticed and would make comments about wtf happened lol. Sometimes its just reminding people that youre human too.

I generally am able to figure them out so they really like me and arent too bad. I have extremely difficult teams Im assigned to because I know how to deal with them. One of our VPs is known to have run off several people and yet she absolutely loves me.

Yeah I make the pie crusts myself. Its not too hard to make. But it was a bit of a learning curve to roll them out right. I like to make mine with butter and not shortening. Gimme that fat stuff

I can cook and bake pretty much anything. But my specialties are probably ribeye and apple pie lol. I can pretty much cook any steak medium rare by instinct and especially can make a mean ribeye. I bake a lot of stuff but my family raves over my apple pie the most. I will specifically visit orchards in the fall for fresh specialty apples.

To be fair, green Aes Sedai had their own harem thing going so that was cool.

But yeah RJ sucked at portraying women in the books and thats one aspect I think modern writers can improve on.

I weighed myself a few days ago at 124 lbs. Im 52 and have never weighed that much. I was at 114 before quarantine. So I started dieting and exercising. I need to lose the quarantine weight.

Ive been under anesthesia multiple times. Its scary the first time when you dont know what to expect. But its over before you know it and it always just feels like you had a great nap. My doctor laughs because he tells me people are nauseous after but I always get in n out right after.

Yeah it did turn out that my cats messed something up with the router and it was down. But seeing other people have issues after the update just made me wonder. But that makes the most sense.
