What I hate most about slow drivers is when they suddenly decide to switch lanes to get in front of you, when youre driving significantly faster. Always have to slam on my breaks. They usually dont signal or anything, and might have absolutely no one in front of them. They just need to get in your lane now

I drove over an hour for the interview. It was an outside sales engineer job that would have required a lot of driving. I got asked pretty much every illegal question by the man interviewing me.

Why would you want this kind of job? You would need to drive all day, it is dangerous for a woman and I would be concerned for you

After all that shit, they actually did end up making me an offer. Only it was for less than what was posted and they wanted me to spend 6 months in the office to train before allowing me to do outside sales. I of course turned it down.

But yes, many stay at home moms take their husbands hard work for granted. Being able to stay home to raise your kids on a single income is a privilege these days.

Yup. My sister and I are one of the few in our community who married other races. Luckily our parents are open minded. They were initially disappointed but they also knew it was ways a pipe dream that wed marry Arab men.

Im 32. Life is pretty good. Im much more confident than I was in my 20s. Ive taken pretty good care of myself so I physically dont look/feel too much older. But I dont give a damn about what other people think of me anymore, which feels awesome. And I have more money and independence. Married a good guy. Bought a nice house together.

I wish I could freeze time right about here.

Ive had a raging headache for the last 2 days. Just absolutely brutal. Wasnt expecting it to be this bad from just drinking one cup of coffee a day.

No fru-fru sugary shit for me. I like it with no sugar and a bit of cream. They dont have decaf in my office so Id have to go across the street to Starbucks.

Just take a spoonful of caffeine every day instead.

(Don't actually do that because it WILL kill you if you take that much pure caffeine at one time.)

Applied. Never heard anything for several months so I assumed I was turned down. Then got an email from my now boss asking if I was still interested. So I said yes and we set up a call. Then I did a take home test. Then a four hour interview at the location. Then I got an offer.

It was really random. I honestly thought it was a long shot when I applied since they asked for so much experience. I was really happy when he reached out.

I watched the cartoon as a kid and believed it was a hat. Really dont care either way though.
