I like the world's Brandon Sanderson creates but I feel that his main protagonists are always hateable. They're usually young teen girls who are fuckwits. Like in Mistborn and Skyward.

Anyone here read The Way of Kings Prime that released recently? I'd read it but there are too many books to read, not enough time. Maybe sometime after Rhythm of War.

crazy looking back at the state of sanderson report in december he called finishing book 4 in july. It amazes me how he is able to predict and stick to his schedule like that. The man is a machine. Admittedly he doesn't have the world's greatest prose and maybe part of that is due to his process of writing a 20 pages a day, but he gets shit done and it is never at the cost of story quality or worldbuilding.
