Bro I lost to a Galaxy-Eyes OTK because I derped and didn't search for a correct AW when all they did was pass on nothing and C'd me on my turn.

I felt like kms.

I lost because of my own fault more than I lost because of I faced the impossible smh.

Imagine you threw away a chance on easy win because you freaking forgot to turn response back to ON.

Auto or ON depending on what I need to do.

It's just that I found, most of the time and with some exception, that saving Imperm on hand for my own turn than trying to interrupt their plays gave 'better' returns.

Then I Alt-Tab off the game lmao, when I did my turn I was like 'No chain????' and always too late to notice.

Managed to get to level 18. Rankup game was against some unholy Gravekeeper/Boarder stun shenanigans. They even opened Royal Tribute so I had to start my turn with no monsters in hand.

Also ran into somebody named "hate ", (Tearlaments in Korean). Fun to know the hatred of this deck knows no borders lol

I played against a guy named "f***k Konami" and was like yea woo! Until I saw he was playing tears like come on man...

While it is enough sometimes, I feel Dimensional Fissure alone isn't enough.

I need more floodgates...at the cost of losing any semblance of consistency, lol.

I quit my SwoSo deck cuz I'm still low rank (one climb was plenty for me lol) and was running into strictly non-Tear and losing cuz D Fissure and shit was clogging my hand.

I guess I'm all PUNK again, only lost 1 with them. The first place guy last KC cup is also grinding with PUNKs again after doing several Tear streams. I guess it just feels right to him

'Once per turn has left the chat' is fun, I guess.

If you can somehow fit it you can use Sprite Elf (sigh) and reborn the baby somehow for another pop.

From what I see, it's fun if you like combo decks. There is also a strange satisfaction to pop your own cards to continue plays.

Like me with AW. Unfortunately I'm still bad at it.

I wanted to make PUNK but without me realizing it I have spent some CP to make random cards and now I looked at my stockpile and asked 'where do they go?' lol.

PUNK base is not that complicated. You max out on all the SR main decks and do 2 Deer Note (3 is fine). You can do 1-2 of the field spell, 1 of either of the traps, 2-3 Sharakusai, 1 of each of spell/trap searcher

You can run 1-2 of the lvl 8 PUNK synchro, recommended 2 of the lvl 11 PUNK synchro (it comes up if you do the combo right). You can replace a lvl 8 PUNK synch with Chaos Ruler, and if you run Instant Contact then run Dragite or whatever the lvl 8 Adam synchro was called

Rest can literally be all hand traps. I've bricked a few times. I bricked against 60 card decks with literal perfect hands. But that is the risk of running a ton of hand traps. Builds don't change much, outside of when you want PUNK to be the engine rather than the central part of the deck

I played with Dinos a little bit irl when the structure deck first released. I'm sure the gameplan has evolved (heh) significantly since then, but the core of Oviraptor, Miscellaneousaurus, infanticide, and Super Fuck You Tyrannosaurus was pretty fun.

Yeah, I have to make them all with CP because I didn't pull their first selection pack so apart from Ze Amin, Deer Note, Dragon Drive and Extreme Session I literally have zilch.

Foxy and Ogre are 180 SR CP, Rising Carp + 2x Amazing Dragon are 90 UR CP...

....I can actually make it, lol. I just have to skimp on spicy tech like Dragite or others, I guess.

Maybe you're right. At most I can only do it as an engine.

Had a rough losing streak at level 18 that knocked me right back down to 17. (not that I care about level as long as I clear these missions, but still lol) But I'm ending the night with a win. Completely shut down a tear deck by being able to go into Asophiel (the in-archetype Dweller) instead of Kapsitell for my main combo.

Have had surprisingly good luck against Tear come to think of it. Shut one down the other day by Ashing Terraforming. Must've bricked hella hard >_>

I finally got all the sexy (gems).
Thanks to Dimensional Fissure my opponent ended up scooping.

The only question with this situation would be if an effect says that it sends to the GY (like Dingirsu or Zeus) rather than destroying or banishing. Would it still work because the effect itself doesn't destroy or banish, then the monster would be banished instead of being sent to the GY due to the lingering effect of Shifter? Or would it not work because it would be banished instead, therefore Gymir would protect from it?

PUNK player has 100 lp left. They normal summon Maxx C. Decide to be courteous and allow them a suicide attack.

They activate Spright Blue from the hand. ._.

Though it did lead to a really fun 6-link chain.

1 - Gigantic
2 - Magnifica to banish

Yes card effect almost always refers to something that happens during a chain resolution. Continuous or lingering effects do not cause a new chain, though some continuous effects do, but they're actually continuous effects that cause an ignition effect rather than just being only a continuous effect, if that makes sense.

I'm trying hard to think of a potential counter example, but I'm fairly sure that's how it works

That nopenguin ruling is messing with my head. But I guess it's like...

it has already left the field to return to the hand, and in that weird limbo period its protection is no longer active, and that's when the redirect takes place. Sort of like the weird way Konami tries to justify Pendulum cards getting banished by Macro even though they're supposed to go to the extra deck instead of the graveyard.

I guess so, that makes sense.

Continuous effects in general requires the card to be face up on the field, or it's negated beforehand I guess. There isn't a card that exists that gets rid of a lingering continuous effect.

I somewhat misunderstood the prompt, cuz I was thinking of Tears recently. "if sent to GY by a card effect" effects aren't actually prompted when sent by continuous effects.

The thing about the Metaphys Executor situation, Executor by Penguin Soldier has already been bounced to the hand, which means it's no longer on the field, which means it's no longer protected as it's a continuous effect which requires it to be on the field and face up to be active. So it's bounced to the hand then sent to the banish instead.

Ugh, got ranked down again to 18. u__u

Just had my level 19 rank up game against the brickiest Numeron player. Or at least I assume they were Numeron. I ashed Planet Pathfinder and they played pretty much nothing else besides staples.

Thing that won me the game, of all things, was Code Virus Swordsman or whatever. The link 2 I put in my deck after getting Bagooska'd three times in one day. Didn't see a single Bagooska after I added it, but it did help me kill this opponent before they drew anything. >_>

Bagooska definitely threw many wrenches during my duels. AW less so (unless I open no good hands whatsoever), but when I tried my dragon deck I can only do nothing because I cannot summon enough bodies for Borrelsword.

Times like that makes me wish I put Triple Burst Dragon. Codebreaker Virus Swordsman is nice, too.

I should get back to my dragon decks, lol. My mind is like '???' every duel with the deck (and for some reason I got hit by more handtraps than my AW with it).
