Is it okay to put 3 fusion deployment in any deck?

It's apparently really good in Branded now. Its main use is to summon Cartesia (who's really important to the deck now and needs to be in rotation ASAP) by revealing Granguignol, but in a pinch it can summon Albaz by revealing any of the Albaz fusions, and in my Branded Tearlaments deck it can even summon Reinohart by revealing Kaleido-Heart.

Honestly I got absolutely spanked in the last 3 selection pack. Crazy that I can go into this one and basically have to only pull 1k gem and just end it lol. Feels a bit anticlimactic

If there were only 2 cards I needed from a pack like that, I would just craft them and not even waste time or gems on pulling from the pack. That's what I'm doing on my main account since I only need Sprind and maybe Garura for that one.

Learned something interesting from a replay I saw earlier. You can actually dodge a deck out by skipping your next draw phase through effects like Number 60.

I had no idea wtf happened until I noticed the notification that stated such.

I wonder how many games I'll have to play with Sky Strikers before the first time my Raye gets banished into an NTR doujin with a Bystial. I'm only in low Gold right now, but I'm sure I'll run into them at some point.

My last 1000 gems got me the Abyss Actors I needed, though I still needed to craft 2 Super Producers since I didn't pull any from the secret pack.

Practicing the basic plays in Solo before taking them to ranked.They're a lot of fun. I love PendMages and Odd-Eyes, but it feels great to actually use my pendulum summoned monsters for more than just material fodder for generic boss monsters.

Extras is a one-card full board combo, which is just fucking nuts and something that other Pendulum decks desperately need.

Also, Mellow Madonna makes me feel a certain kind of way >_>

Oh! New events are open for registration! Both hit a lot of burn/stun cards so that'll be good. The Legend Anthology hit Maxx C so we're cooking good!

Abyss Actors is full power so I'll probably run them, they're fun. But I'll try other decks as I can make more sense of the banlist.

Synchro Fest banned Speeder and Librarian again RIP. Gonna break out Speedroids and Ghoti for this.

Lol yeah you only lose when the draw happens. The Ishizus basically made it impossible for any deck with them to deck out, but skipping draw entirely also works

Three, technically, counting the Duel Trial, but yeah. They did this during one of the previous events too. New event + rerun of old event. (Last time they re-ran the Xyz event. Curiously I think I remember Fusion coming before Synchro. If my memory isn't faulty it's pretty funny that they're deliberately skipping a Fusion Fest rerun while Tear is still close to full power)

Did some more digging, Mo Ye is limited in the Synchro event, so Swordsoul isn't going to be everpresent. And Kairyushin is banned.

Seems like Konami really does care about trying to keep these casual events fun.

I don't think the armor cards could even work in the real game. Maybe as a equip style archetype but to what? Obviously the player isn't a option.

Make them similar to the XZY monsters used by Kaiba in the anime or those Gate Guardian support revealed months ago. If it was me, I would also make them pendulum monsters. @Prismsblade

Did the Duel Trial. Ritual Dogmatika is a funny deck. Springans is kind of annoying.

Pack gave me nothing but I enjoyed the duels.

Lost against Branded/Byssted/Shaddoll/Tearl deck because I'm too afraid of attacking a facedown lol.

But to my defense, my draws suck. And I'm not sure Super Poly is worth it in AW. Excellent removal but Extravagance is liable to remove 2 Garura and a Mudragon I put in it.

Fucking solemn christ johnson, I tried the Abyss Actor deck, and I never seen a deck where every card does like 5 things, there are like 30 different cards in the deck, and like most of them don't seem to do anything.

I mean I managed to get the last win I needed with it, but it wasn't great. I only won cuz the other guy kinda threw. He didn't activate some of the effects that would've kinda screwed me, but to be fair, he had no idea I'd be on a pissin' Abyss Actor deck. I just stole Alba Zoa and his insanely powered up Maximus over 2 turns using one of the clown guys. Basically only won because of the Dogmatika cards lmao. I couldn't fucking figure out how to properly even kill anything.

Forcing them to destroy my own cards also had such a jank ass condition, like having to control a specifically pend summoned from the deck pendulum Abyss Actor? Like jesus, that effect isn't even that good cuz only some of the Abyss Actor cards actually do stuff when destroyed by an opponent's effect face down. Why wouldn't I just play Artifacts, I'm not sure.

The rental Dogmatika deck is pretty good. I pulled off a Enemy Phase fusion summon of Quintet Magician for a board wipe.

The loaner decks are horribly optimized and filled with cards that people don't actually play. >_>

But for getting your cards popped by your opponent, you're supposed to get Super Producer (the new Link 2) on the field, who can activate the field spell as a quick effect.

So your opponent activates a monster effect you dont like, you chain producer, then when their effect resolves it changes to "destroy one set card your opponent controls".

But yes the deck is quite silly and I wouldve never figured it out if I didn't specifically look up combos and write-ups for it lmao

I can easily see the deck constructed to be like 10 times better. But like is there actually a point of having so many Abyss Script? Play? whatever the spells are called

Also yeah the Dogmatika one is like several million times better than the other 2 from my experience. Honestly the Abyss Actor win was a huge fluke. Electrumite is good and all but like... man they couldn't even give us a good Rank 7 xyz

The only thing is you really don't want to be facing a mirror, because you don't really want to be sending a lot of the dogmakita extra deck to the GY either.

Scrapped 2 Wake Up, a Sargas, a Rindbrumm, and 2 Armed Dragon White for the UR CP.

Made a Bucephalus just for Ultimate Slayer target, and I'll use the 30 remaining for Lubellion.

However apparently I need a 3rd Lubellion if I want to use the Byssted dragons for more than just handtrap. /sigh

Maybe should put another 2k for the heck of it into the pack...

The plan, as far as it can be called a plan, is to make Harpie's Pet Phantasmal Dragon (untargetable by effects or attacks, can attack opponent directly) and pray my opponent can't out it. Forbidden Kleptomaniac has been added for protection. Anti-Magic Arrows to turn off battle traps, or if I'm going second against Set-5 Pass. Shitty Towers Turbo, essentially.

The Speedroid cards are there specifically to make Crystal Wing. Becuase Windwitch locks me into Synchros.

I'm getting better with Abyss Actors, but still feel a little too reliant on the bread-and-butter Extras/Curtain Raiser combo. I'm running a going-second build right now, but should maybe consider going first just to get Dweller on board since half the games are Tears and Branded. (This would require me to find a combo that doesn't archetype lock me before getting two Lv4s on board though)

If I get too salty I'll just bring out Exosister grave stun to cheese the ranks until I get the gems.

Yeah, Runick's getting a little too bold now that the shufflers are limited and people are replacing their Crows with Pizzahut.

Just got my first win against Tears with Abyss Actors. Granted they semi-bricked (but does it really count as bricking when they have Havnis in hand?), but a win's a win.

This person milled the continuous spell, one of the traps, and Reinohart. Only reason i avoided mermaid communism is because I had a Bystial in hand and didnt archetype-lock myself yet.
