Bruh, I feel like a ton of my favorite archetypes are that way. Unless you have some crazy gimmick its hard to compete. So it inches you closer to the meta.

I just cant bring myself to play much right now, both mentally and health wise. But I try to keep my finger on the pulse.

How are Exosisters doing? Still love that deck and. I know they are more meta than not

The usual, I guess? Either going first and I am about to eat 3 banishes or going 2nd and set some cards pass; depending on the opponent they might have Exosister out in the field for Returnia later on.

They're mostly at Plat though. Funnily Gold 1-2 is a wild place early in the month.

I genuinely thought it's only Red Reboot and Imperm that you can use from hand no matter who the turn player is.

Ran into a Tearlaments player in Silver 2. Fastest scoop of my life.

Caved in and made 2 TTT and 3 Ultimate Slayer.
The 3 Slayer might be a waste, but seeing Apollousa animation probably worth it.

Made a Wind Pegasus for the Slayer target, as well. Got a Sprite Starter from the free pull lol.

Edit: almost won against a Tearlaments...but they had a Havnis in their hand and the subsequent mill was a Merrli.....

The upcoming battle of legends in irl cardo gameu is... very slowly decreasing in price in terms of pre-order. I think considering other less popular sets go for like 50-60 a box, I'm waiting for $60 to buy a box. I'm seriously just hoping for at least one of each of the PUNKs. The goal is to get cheaper Foxy Tune and nothing else

Latest Master Duel update lets you see which effect has been used in a given card, and there's a chain animation when you want to select which card to use in a given chain.

edit: Also new windows icon as well.

oh hell yeah I like this yellow checkmark feature letting me see which effect has already be activated making the cards easier to read still not gonna read tho

A PUNK-Tearl player milled with Zombie Vampire and stole my AW Zhang Yuan.

They get another free pop off Perlereino because Zhang Yuan can pop another one.
I cannot summon Lu Feng because my Lv. 4 AW has less ATK than Zhang Yuan (2300) and Lu Feng specifically needs me to have the highest AW monster on the field.

They got me good, lol. Well played, that person.

Traps are not in a bad place. I think it's more that traps are just inherently weak, but the many traps are subsequently loaded in skill or ease of use that ignores the weaknesses of traps

These Ghoti Guys are the first new archetype added to master duel that I'm excited about, I really like the way they play.

We got a blackwing structure deck and building a blackwing deck is something I wanted to do. I've purchased all 3 copies of the structure deck, but I'm hoping someone can help me with building one. I'm not too familiar with some of the more recent blackwing cards.

Yes, I wanted to build Vernusylph Naturia and Runick Naturia. I needed 5 UR's from this selection pack (3 copies of Mole Cricket and 2 copies of Beast) and I only got 1 of those 5 that I needed out of 140 packs. That's some absolutely horrendous luck. Plus I would still need to craft the Vernusylph cards too. At least I still got a good amount of UR's that I can dismantle for material.

Oh my goooooood I finally boot up this game again and I have the craziest duel against Spright (me using Sky Strikers)

Turn 2 ends with both of us with one card on the field and hand, they having gone into IP:Avramax.

After that is just me trying to stay alive long enough to draw the out. I end up sacrifing *every* Sky Striker name, Ive got exactly 3000 left so any monster left in attack position is game ovee. I have to fucking normal summon ghost belle just so i can link into Zeke so I can banish myself and then stall with Widow Anchor next turn.

Anyways final turn. Ive got 20 seconds left on the clock. I draw fucking Droplets. Manage to use Ghost Belle and Hornets to go into Dharc, revive their Jet, go to battle phase.

Negated Avramax gets beat over with Dharc, which triggers Roze to come back and I have just enough damage on board to win that turn, like 4 seconds left on my timer.

This Tearl player purposely put Guardian Slime just for this purpose smh.

I've been having a decent amount of success with Marincess so far this season. I've beaten a couple of Tearlament opponents too, including one duel where I dropped a Kaiju on their Rulkallos, returned it to my hand with Aqua Argonaut, then dropped the same Kaiju again on their Kaleido-Heart.

Marincess are the cuter water waifus anyways

My AW performance is like pendulum.
Swing one side and I had a great time (including trying to out a Psychic End Punisher), swing on the other side and I bricked or got obliterated.

I also made a 50+ cards Dragon Link deck comprising of Rokkets, Dragunity, and Red-Eyes with some extra janks.

I wonder if I can put Blue-Eyes in there or something.

I have Pend Mages deck that I don't even try to use, lol.
Wth do you even do with it.

Admittedly I also wanted to pull the Odd-Eyes pack for the Revolution Dragon (card's BS) and some extra CP but it's, again, pendulum. Too big for my small brain.

Pend Magicians spam big board through many usage of Astrograph and Beyond the Pendulum, but previously they just FTKs a whole lot when that was legal.

99% of PendMages is spamming Astrograph + Electrumite

You can go balls deeps MAHVELBABEH wombo combos, which I think is the strongest version of the deck. Though its arguably the least fun, unless you like yugioh "combo solitaire" gameplay.

Or you can attempt to play a more mid-range control style deck that focuses on abusing the Pendulumgraph cards. The main difference is that instead of putting all your eggs in your opening board, you're praying that you survive turn 1 with fewer boss monsters (having at least the graphs in your ST zone) and then being able to outgrind your opponent.

The basic combo is:

Any two Pendulums into Electrumite, E activates and sends Astro. Electrumite blow up a scale (ideally Double Iris) and add Astro.

CL 1 Electrumite (draw 1), CL 2 Double Iris (add Graph spell) CL 3 Astro (add either Wisdom Eye or Double Iris)

Now activate Graph and another Pendulum scale. Then turn Astro + one Dark pendulum into Supreme King Venom, copying Electrumite, and repeat the above steps one more time, adding the Graph Trap.

Thats it. That's the bread and butter. After you're comfortable with that, you can build more complex combos and learn alternate routes.

Try to end with either Purple Poison on a scale, or TimeStar Xyz, so your Graph trap can pop two of your opponent's monsters.

Underworld Goddess must be targeted by card effect to be outed (Smasher doesn't target), or simply by running it over.
The guy needed to wait a turn so they can do their BS AND made a Goddess with my Goddess.
